" Okay, students I need you all to listen closely to what I'm about to say," the bus driver stands up and starts walking to the back of the bus,    " I need Jeruck and Mack to come back here and do just as we practised. One by one take someone into the school until everyone is off, okay." Finishing his instructions he opens the back door on the bus and Jeruck and Mack come with one girl with each of them.

People like to think that girls can't just help other people, no we're the other people that apparently need to be helped. Be for I know it Mack is walking up to me grabbing my stuff and then grabbing me, with Ray right behind us we race inside.

Over all the only part of getting from the bus to inside the school I would have needed help with was not falling on my face from jumping out of the bus. But that's besides the point, now every bus is empty and all the little kids are safe.

" I need everyone's attention please, " Mr. Harold, the principal of Southeast elementary says, " we will have to hold all the kids here until further notice. Please stay in here and let the adults do what they need to, to keep everyone safe. " He steps off the table and I can tell he has something else he wants to say, but he just turns around to talk to some other teacher.

" Mr. Harold, sir, is everything okay? I could tell you had something else  you want wanted to tell us. " I end trying to play it cool so he will tell me what's up.

He looked around, then got back up on one of the tables, " Every High Shcooler please meet me at the entrance to the library. " He climbs back off the table puts his hand behind me and starts for the library.   " Is this everybody, " the mumbling principal questioned, " good. Okay children, there is someone who threatened to come and shoot up the school, right after we found out we couldn't leave. "

Everyone looks around and gasps, asking questions and wondering what we're going to do. " Mr. Harold, what are we going to do? " some girl in the back raised her hand. As the principal tryed to figure out how to answer the girl's question,  I figured out what to do.

I quietly raise my hand and make my way to the very front of the small crowd,  " I have an idea, " I take over Mr. Harold's position, " What if we try to get these kids that live around here home, so the population here goes down. Then we take things into our own hands, " I pause to look around the group of willing high school boys and girls, " we fight back. "

We stand in silence all eyes on Mr. Harold waiting for an answer. He looks up at us all fear in his eyes, " Do you kids even have anything to fight with, if you do don't worry you won't be in trouble. " When he said that several kids, including myself, get out knives and some even pull out loaded guns.

" Sir we are high school kids with behavior problems, and bad home lives... we can do this, " Harvey Boswell paused, out of all of us those things applied to him most, " can't we? "

We all share a, " HELL YEAH WE CAN!!! " and we all grab our weapons and head to the office, to find out what kids live where.

I run up behind Harvey and grab his shoulder. Harvey has been my crush since we where in third grade together, my mom always said to just give up but I never did. " Hey Harvey, I liked what you said back there. Seems like you got everyone on board with fighting back. " I tell him with a sad like smile on my face.

" Thanks Kesha. I just said what I felt needed to be said, anyone could have done that. " He looks directly into my eyes and my heart starts beating faster. " I wouldn't have said what I said if you didn't get up there and do what ya did. Your a real hero Kesh. " I lowered my eyes and keep walking with everyone to the office.

We find eighteen kids who live near by, but there where only ten of them here. We split up into groups, some with two people some with three, picked a kid and started planing to get them home. My group contains of Ray, Harvey, and me just trying to get a little girl in secoun grade get home.

" She only lives a couple miles from here. " Ray states, handing me a map of the county. " Do you think we can make it? " he looks over at Harvey, who's holding the little girl, then to me.

" We have to make it. " I say taking the little girl from Harvey and walking to the bus entrance door,  " We have no choice. " I look back at them still standing by a table in the corner of the cafeteria. They share a look then walk up to where I hold the little girl close to my chest.
