Harvey and Ray look at each other, then start kicking the shit out of the man that was left to watch them. " Where did they take her! "Harvey yells louder that he does when his dad hits his mom.
The man wipes the blood from his lip, looks up and smiles, " Far away from you two. " Harvey kicks him in the center of his gut and the man spits up more blood.
" YOU SON OF A BITCH!! " Harvey keeps kicking the man in his gut until Ray pulls him back. " Tell me where they took her! " He fights out of Ray's grip, " NOW! " he huffs and puffs trying to catch his breath from yelling so much.
" And why should I do that? " the man has a smirk on his face that pushes Harvey way past his line. Ray steps back knowing that if he tries to intervein he will get the living hell bet out of him. " If I tell you boss man will kill me, and you know I'd rather not die. "
Harvey grabbed the man by his collar and yanked him up off the ground, " If you don't tell me I'll kill you right here and now, you understand? " Nothing but murder filled his eyes as he spoke, " So pick your neck words wisely, okay! " not letting go Harvey stared into the man's eyes filled with fear. He knew that no matter what happened he was going to find out what happened to Kesha, and he would kill anyone who got in his path to do it.
" Okay, okay. They took her out that way near a pond and a bridge. Now please don't kill me. " the man pointed out behind Harvey, as he begged and pleaded shaking, his body filled with fear.
Harvey threw the now crying man down on the ground, and ran out in the direction the man pointed. He never looked back to see if Ray had followed him, because all he cared about was finding Kesha. Running throw the woods ducking under branches and jumping over logs, he was so lost in what he was doing that nobody could stop him. Even when he ran throw the other two men he didn't slow down, he pushed throw them and kept running until he saw a bridge.
Harvey stopped in his tracks at the edge of the lake, and Ray runs up behind him putting his hand on Harvey to catch his breath. Both of them breathing heavily from running throw the woods, they stare at the bridge as if will give them some sort of answer to where Kesha is. Harvey starts taking off his shirt and Ray steps back unsure of what he's doing. " Um, Harvey I don't think she's here, I think that that guy just lied to you. " Ray says leaning over to see Harvey's face as he sets his shirt and shoes down.
" There's only one way to find out. " He divers right into the water not giving it a second thought. Diving deeper and deeper as the bright moon light fades, until he's left under water in the dark. Trying to hold his breath for as long as possible he finally spots Kesha. " Ray! " he calls out flipping his soaked curly air back, " Ray! I found her, here. "
Ray pulls Kesha out of the water and then goes over and helps Harvey, " Oh my god, Harvey! Are you okay, " Ray throws his warm dry jacket over him along with his arm, " Here. " They walk over to where they laid Kesha. Ray got down and started giving here CPR, knowing that he was the only one of them who could.
" Is she okay? " Harvey leaned over his shoulder.
She started coughing up water, but was still unconscious, " She'll be okay. " Ray leans back into Harvey and breaths a sigh of relief. " We should get back to the school, you know." he says looking up at Harvey.
" Not until she wakes up, and not until we kill the men who did this. " Harvey said still thinking about how he would kill each one of them. When he finally snapped back to reality he looked down at Ray who he just realized was laying on him, " Oh, do you want your jacket back, or something? " he said in a really sweet and gentle voice.
" No, its fine. " Ray sits up and turns around to look Harvey in the eyes, " If you don't mind me asking, what is she to you? "
" Oh Kesha, she's like the little sister I've never had. And you? You like or something she's all yours. " He smiles a soft smile and gives a little giggle.
With his face all rose, Ray is happy its dark, " Well I used to, and its not like she's a bad person or that I don't like her period, its just... " he spaces out for a second thinking of how to put his feelings, " I like someone else now, and don't know how to tell them or how to tell her. I mean not like she'd care if I still like her or not its just I feel she should know. " Looking back into Harvey's blue-ish gray-ish eyes, Ray smiles which causes Harvey to laugh in response.
" Is it any one I might know, maybe I could help you out, if you want. " Harvey suggests hoping Ray will smile back at him again.
" Uhm, as a matter of fact you do know them. " Ray looks away, " He has curly brown and blond hair, and is super tall and strong. He also plays football and basketball, just not for schools. And the best thing about him is his bright eyes that light up when he smiles. " Ray sighs with a sad smile as he looks down. "
Harvey lifts his head gently, "Does his name start with an H by any chance? " He smiles down at Ray's blush red face. " Because I think he might like you to. " He leans down and kisses Ray's silky soft lips, for the first but the not the last time.
Harvey slides his hands down and pulls Ray's waist close setting Ray on his lap. Ray sitting taller on his lap, wrapping his arms and legs around Harvey. The moon shining bright over them and for a quick second everything is calm and happy. Ray lays his head on Harvey's shoulder and sighs, " If only his moment could last for ever. We wouldn't have to worry about being hunted down by creeps who want to shoot up schools. It would just be us, you and me, forever. " He let out a sigh of sadness.
" Don't worry, everything will be fine soon, okay I promise. " Harvey squeezes Ray closer to his chest. " Once we kill those guys who drugged you and I, then held me as they beat you, " He shivers in anger, " Those son's of bitches will pay for what they did. " he made a fist and Ray put is hand over Harvey's. " Until then we have now, with you and I. And right now that's all I want is you right here safe with me, and Kesh where we can see her. " he smiles warmly and leans back on his hands.
They sit there in silence as the moon moves behind a dark cloud that looks like more rain and storms. " We should probably find some sort of shelter. " Ray site up and looks around, " Over there! A small little cave we can sit under to stay dry. " Ray points as he gets up and grabs Harvey's hand. Once Harvey is up he goes over, picks up Kesha from the ground and starts following Ray over to the small cave. When they get over there Kesha starts to wake up.
" Ray? Harvey? " she says looking around find them both standing in front of her. " Are you guys okay? " she wraps her arms around both of them pulling them down to her chest. " What happened? " she sighs, releasing them from her tight grasp.
" Yes, we're fine, and those guys threw you off that bridge over there. " Harvey points behind him. " Are you okay? " he put a gentle hand on her shoulder.
" Yeah, I'm fine. Now what happened to those men who kidnapped us. " Kesha rushes her head from left to right as if the men would be in the cave with them. She clamed her heart down when she saw they weren't there, and went over and sat against the stone wall. Ray and Harvey sat down across from her, cuddled into each other even though Harvey was still cold and wet. Kesha chuckled, " Did I miss something? " she waved her finger back and forth between Ray and Harvey.
They all locked eyes for a moment, " Not much. " Ray laughed, " Just that Harvey and I had a moment where things got said and feelings where expressed, and know we know how each other feels. " Ray smiles at Harvey and gives him a hug as he slides into his lap.
" I'm so happy for you to. " Kesha's smile fades quickly, " When the rain lets up we need to get ready, find those men, and kill them for what they did to us." she says getting the extra amo from the father of the little girl, and started pre paring her guns.
" They can't get away with this. " She stood up and walked to the entrance of the cave, " I won't let them do that to someone else. " with her fist tight she stood with Harvey and Ray hand and hand behind her, all ready to kick ass.
