Ron didn't say anything, because he actually didn't know what to do now that his relationship with Lavender was over. But maybe he could find a new girlfriend? Or maybe just focus on supporting his friends? He just didn't know what to do.
But instead of Ron being the one to answer Pansy's question, Hermione jumped out of her seat and grabbed Pansy by the arm.
"Hey! What are you doi-"
Hermione whispered into Pansy's ear, out of earshot to the others, " I have an idea, so are you going to listen to me or not? "
Pansy sighed and whispered back, " Alright, but let's get out of here first. "
Hermione smiled politely, " Me and Pansy are going to order more drinks for everyone, don't worry, it's on us. "
Everyone watched the pair walk away to order more drinks, but Ron knew that it would be a while for them to bring back more butter beers.
"So..." Harry coughed awkwardly.
Ron looked at Harry, expecting him to say something.
But he didn't, and just shook his head, "...never mind."
