A month has gone by, and yes Mason's mom passed away. Mason has been having a bad time while grieving. But recently Lucas has been thinking of something special. He fell in love with Mason so deeply. He wants to marry Mason. He has been thinking for awhile now. Today is the day he's going to ask Mason to marry him and to be his forever.
Lucas goes up to Mason's room. "Hey baby? Can you come downstairs? I wanna ask you something." Mason looks at the ceiling but back at Lucas. "Yeah. Sure, just give me a second to get a little motivation to get up.." Lucas nods and goes to their office and grabs the ring going downstairs and sits on the couch. Mason gets up and looks around seeing a stuffed animal his mom gave him when he was 4. (Mason is 20 now and Lucas is 21 btw) "That's the stuffed animal mama got me... That's when I was in the hospital because I had a brain tumor." Mason picks it up and hugs it, putting it on his bed and kisses it walking downstairs. "I'm here. What's up?" Lucas pats the couch "Sit down.. " Mason sits down as Lucas stands up and takes the ring out and gets on his knee
" Mason Jamie Tech. Will you marry me and be with me forever?" Mason tears up and smiles and nods his head slowly. "Yes bae... Yes of course!" Lucas squeals and puts the ring on Mason's hand. "I'm happy I've found my soulmate!" Mason smiles as he falls back. Lucas looks at Mason concerned. "Bae, you okay?" Mason nods looking up. "Stomach pain" Mason shakes as Lucas hugs Mason tight and rubs his stomach. "Is this helping?" Mason shakes his head. "No.." Lucas get's medicine for Mason and Mason takes it and smiles. "Thank you." Mason goes to his bed and lays down going to sleep. Lucas sighs sadly going to the kitchen making a mini pizza. "Maybe he's just very sick or he's just wanting attention..." Lucas says but it's mumbled.
Lucas didn't know what to do. He didn't know if Mason was using attention. It's hard, he thought. Mason, on the other hand, was NOT faking this pain at all! He didn't know what was going on with him. He got scared and he started to shake in his sleep. Something triggered his headache.
Mason got up and ran to Lucas holding onto him tightly. Lucas was confused. "Bae, what's wrong? Why are you sweating?" Lucas had tons of thoughts going through his head. Mason started breathing heavily. "I-I-" Lucas looks at Mason rubbing his head as he takes a chunk of Mason's hair out so he jumps back and screams. Mason shakes more and more and starts to cry. "M-my h-hair!" Lucas looks at Mason realizing he's in actual pain and he isn't doing this for attention. Lucas gets worried and confused again. "Did you shave your head or-?" Mason shakes his head. Lucas brings Mason upstairs and looks up on google
"If you are getting headaches and sweating a lot and your hair is falling out, what does this mean?"
First thing that pops up is "You may have cancer. Go to a doctor, admittedly , if you are having these symptoms."
Mason reads it and gasps loudly "NO!!" Mason sobs. Lucas hugs him tightly. "I don't wanna die!" Mason cries. Lucas looks at Mason bringing him to the car. "I don't care, we are going to the hospital" Mason looks at Lucas with teary eyes. Lucas looks down and then back up, starting the car. "I don't care if you don't wanna go, I'm gonna bring you" Lucas drives to the hospital. "I'm sorry.." Mason sighs sadly. "I didn't wanna ruin our night with this.." Lucas drives to the main entrance. "Don't be sorry. It's not your fault that you may have cancer.." Mason nods as Lucas brings Mason into the waiting room. Mason puts his head on Lucas's shoulder. Lucas smiles big "I love you. I don't care if you go bald"
~ About 10 minutes later~
A doctor calls Mason in and Mason lays on the bed and holds Lucas's hand as the doctor goes over to Mason. "What's going on Mason?" Mason looks at Lucas. Lucas looks at the doctor. "His hair is falling out, has stomach aches, headaches, and sweating. We don't know what's going on" The doctor widens his eyes. "Oh my god!"
Lucas and Mason didn't know what was going on.
