My life....is black and white. That's how it always was, and is how it always will be. For everyone.

My school tells us of a time when there was color....but...then someone took it away.
No one knows how it happened. Maybe...a higher power? God?
Eventually, people just started ignoring it.
Black and white is the color.
The official color of everything, because that's all anyone can see.

One day. I hope to bring it back.
But until then. I wait, and watch....and go to school like any old 17 year old boy.

My name is Tyler by the way. Tyler Morgen.
My hair is black, my eyes are grey.
That's pretty much it...those are all the colors I've ever known.

Sure, you must be thinking I'm...pretty boring. Well to tell you the truth, I'm not.
I love adventure. Biking, swimming.... Seeing people....anyway. That's not important.

I have 2 siblings. Eric, my older brother, and Sasha, my younger sister.
As a middle child, things can be rough.
I'm always expected to solve everyone's problems.
It's okay. For the most part...

Thud.

What was that?

Suddenly my door swung open, and Sasha leaped onto my bed.
"TYLER!!! ERIC IS BOTHERING ME AGAIN!"

I rolled over. "I really don't care."

"TELL HIM TO STOP." She squealed at the top of her lungs.

"Look kid. Tell mom. It's not my job to watch you two all the time." I sat up, and pushed her away.

Sasha pushed a strand of her long white hair behind her ear.
"Fine Ty. I'll leave you alone...but it will cost you."

I crossed my arms. "No way. Not a chance."

"I'll tell mom."

"What are you going to tell her? I wouldn't give you my money?" I laughed. "You need to rethink some things, evil mastermind.
I picked her up. "Now, let's get ready for school, okay?"

Sasha was in the 5th grade, and thought that she knew everything, and how to con people.
I can't blame her though. I was the same way.

"Come on sleepy heads! Time for school!" My mother called from the kitchen.

"I'm coming!" We both yelled at the same time.

I put Sasha down, and headed to the bathroom.
Today...oddly seemed like it might be a good day...considering I was going to hell. Commonly called school.
