"Penelope, wait" Josie said while Penelope deepened the kiss, "Why, what's wrong?" Penelope stopped and stared at Josie. "Well we're literally outside your room, can we at least go inside" Josie chuckled while looking around the hallway, making sure no one's watching them. "Oh my bad, I just got too distracted by your lips" Penelope replied as she touched Josie's bottom lip with her finger as she smirked. Penelope opened the door, coming in first as Josie followed her. "So, shall we continue our little make out session we just had?" Penelope asked as Josie sat on her bed when she closed the door. As much as Josie loves when Penelope and her kiss, she wasn't really in the mood anymore. Josie shook her head "Sorry, but you can attack my lips another time" Josie smiled as she declined Penelope's offer with a tease so Penelope doesn't get upset.

"Ugh, fine" Penelope replied crossing her arms as she walked towards Josie. "What do you want to do then?" Penelope asked. Josie laid down on the bed, facing the ceiling "I don't really know, but I'm tired, can I sleep here tonight?" she said. Penelope sat beside Josie while looking at her, "Sure" she gave Josie a smile. "You can wear whatever shirt or shorts you want from the closet to wear as Pj's, I don't mind" Penelope suggested, she got up and went to the bathroom to get ready for bed, while Josie laid still. She had this urge to take her phone out, opening the message app. She pressed on Hope's name and typed at least what seemed like thirty ways of saying hi. Josie doesn't know if Hope kept her backup phone since she almost got caught using it in the dining hall. But either way, she finally decided on what to text Hope, "Hey, you up?" she texted only to realized that it's already twelve am, 'she's probably asleep' she thought to herself.

Josie turned her phone off, dropping it next to her as she closed her eyes and covered it with her hands in distressed.  Josie doesn't know why she feels nervous to text Hope and the fact that she doesn't know how to feel about Hope stresses her out even more until she heard a notification sound from her phone. Josie sat up and quickly grabbed her phone. "Yeah I am, what's up?" Hope replied. Josie doesn't know what to say since she texted Hope out of impulse so it took her a few minutes to think of a reason. "I just wanted to know if you guys finished watching the movie" she texted, waiting for Hope to respond. "We're close to finishing it but it's mostly Landon watching the movie, I'm just on my phone right now" Hope texted back.

Penelope finally finished using the bathroom, "Hey, Jo, you can go use the bathroom now" as she dries her hair with the towel. Josie nodded as she continued to text Hope "Oh okay, well I just wanted to say today was fun" Hope quickly replied "It was :)" a smile formed on Josie's face, earning a look from Penelope. "Cool, well goodnight Hope" Josie texted back to end the conversation "Goodnight Jo" Hope responded. As soon as Josie turned her phone off, she noticed Penelope looking at her with curiosity. "Who were you texting?" Penelope asked as she tried to hide the jealousy tone from her voice, but failing nevertheless. "It was just Hope" Josie said as she walks to the bathroom. Penelope didn't mind Josie texting Hope but she has a gut feeling that something is going on between them, especially when Josie almost forgot to hangout with her after school and the fact that she saw them by the docks during lunch and how close they were.

Penelope laid down on the right side of the bed, reading a book as she waits for Josie. She was tempted to look through Josie's phone but she knew she wasn't the type to do such a thing. Finally, Josie came out of the bathroom with shorts and an oversized sweatshirt. "You look hot" Penelope said, turning her attention away from the book to Josie. Josie gave her a smile in return for the compliment. "You ready to sleep?" Josie asked. Penelope nodded as she tapped the empty space on the bed next to her, showing Josie where to sleep. Josie turned the lights off and walked over to the bed, laying down as she rests her head on Penelope's chest, closing her eyes. Penelope was holding onto Josie's hands, caressing it. Josie appreciated this side of Penelope, when she's soft and caring. When she doesn't have to use words to show her that she cares for her.

"Hey Jo?" Penelope quietly said. "Yea?" Josie hummed. "You do know that I love you so much right?" she said. Josie didn't know what to say, she felt bad that she couldn't think of anything to say, so she pretended that she has fallen asleep while Penelope looked down to her. "Even though I know you're slowly drifting away from me, I'll do whatever it takes to get you back" Penelope whispered as she kissed Josie's head, thinking that she was asleep. Hearing Penelope say that made Josie feel as if she was a bad girlfriend, a bad girlfriend for not feeling the same way, not anymore. Josie was too tired to deal with it, so she finally fell asleep in Penelope's arms. Knowing that once she wakes up, she'll have to deal with a lot more than just the unresolved feelings she has for Hope.
