Once I got home I ran straight to my room so happy by the test results and the fact I got in for football. Hopefully that would make my father happy. After talking to Zaya I went downstairs.
I went downstairs to find something to eat and someone came in. "Hey mom." I said. "Hey Zhaye how was school today?" She asked. "School was great!" "Really what happened?"
"I got a B on my test and got into the football team!" I told her. "Aww Zhaye I'm so proud of you! I'm so happy you are trying this year!" "For that I'm making all of your favorite food well not all some."
"You don't need to.." "I know you have some space in there a lot of space in fact." "Ok then thanks mom" "You did good go in your room and start your homework I'll call you when it's ready and you can bring some to school if want."
"Yes please spare me from cafeteria food." I said cleaning my plate and she laughed. "Don't worry honey you did a good job at school you should be proud!" She kissed my forehead. "I am." I said. Once I finished I went straight to my room.
I started scrolling through my Instagram when I realized I had homework. Then I heard Zaya's voice in my head saying "do your homework" I sighed and took out my stuff and started doing it. Halfway through I didn't understand anything anymore. I needed help. I sighed and opened my window and just closed it back.
As I wanted to take a nap I heard the door open then suddenly heard yelling. I sighed and covered my ears with the pillow and hoping for the yelling to stop.
"I can't do this anymore!" I heard my mom yell. "Just make me some fucking food is it hard to do." Dad replied. "What do you for the house? You don't clean, cook, or nothing you don't even have a fucking job!" She yelled at him.
"I want my food." "And I want a divorce." Thats when the conversation really caught my attention. "What do you mean a divorce?" "I want a divorce." She repeated. "Ok that's cool I had another girl anyway at least gives me what I want when I want!" "And fuck them kids you gave birth to anyway you can keep them!"He yelled and then slowly after I heard a slam.
I rushed downstairs and comforted my mom who was already crying on the ground. "I'm so sorry you have to go through this Zhaye." She said crying into my shoulder. "It's ok mom you deserve better." I said rubbing her shoulder.

I was just doing my homework and playing my guitar when I felt like something was wrong like something wasn't right. I pushed it away and went to bake something random. Today I wanted to make chocolate chip cookies.
I washed my hands preheated the oven and got my ingredients together and started baking the cookies. Around an hour later I was done. I cleaned the kitchen the dishes and placed them back. I left some cookies for her on the table so she could serve herself.
I brought the rest to my room and started organizing my room once that was done decided to watch the stars while eating my cookies. Then I saw Zhaye's window open. I waved so did he. "Want one" I said giving him a cookie. "Thanks"
I nodded staring back at the stars. "Came to watch the stars?" I nodded. "I guess we had the same idea." He said staring at the stars. "They look beautiful." I said. "They do." He replied.
