Chapter 2: The Crown Prince..

"Greetings your highness!" They all greeted in unison at the royal family who has entered their estate. The aura in the entrance was dense, the King, Izaya Yuria gazed upon the Rosea household, staring down each family member, as the rest of the royal family just smiled at them gently and let the man do his own thing, suddenly the mood in the room changed into a more lighter one.
"It's great to see you too, Duke, Selena." He said in a cold yet soft voice.

"Selena! It's wonderful to see you again! How many years has it been since our last time meeting!" The Queen, Helena Yuria beamed at her childhood friend. The Queen suddenly dashed towards her and hugged her friend tightly, in which Selena hugged her back as she missed her too.
"W-Woah! Y-Your still as lively as always, Queen Helena." The black haired woman said with a sheepish smile as she got tackled by her clingy friend.
As they were talking to each other either bickering, gossiping or just chattering, one thing caught the red eyed boys attention, it was the gaze of another boy, Prince Eiji Yuria, the only son of the King and Queen, and the heir to the throne. They just stared at each other for mere minutes, which felt like forever.

"It's great to see you as well, Eiji. You've grown up so fast! Last time I saw you, you were just a baby! Oh how time flies by." Yuu's mother sighed remembering the old memories 6 years ago. Eiji was older than Yuu by just one year.
"Oh that's right! He hasn't met your son yet hasn't he?" The Queen said. The prince had already seen Yuu's older brother, William or Will for short,
(OMFG I JUST NOTICED THIS, I HAVEN'T EVEN NAMED MY MANZ, AM DYING INSIDE FROM THE SUDDEN REALIZATION LMFAO. And so, about the name, I stopped giving japanese names seems it doesn't fit well, idk what was with me with my japanese era. From the embarrassment I need to recheck if some characters or stuff still have no name, but if I miss it please do tell, it would save me from the humiliation), he was there when their mother and father visited the Imperial Palace to see the newborn baby of the King and Queen.
"Is that so?" Selena thought. "Then Yuu-chan, why don't you show the prince to your room and get to know each other? It might be fun!" Her mother exclaimed, and the Queen nodded. Yuu had a hesitant look on his face, but gave in because of his mother's charms. 'Gosh mothers can sometimes be manipulators, as well as big influencers to our lives.' He rolled his eyes. He looked at the prince and smiled.

"Well then, shall we go to my room then your highness?" He asked Eiji, with a closed eyed smie. He couldn't see it at the time, but the tip of the prince's ears had a tint of pink. He remained silent and stared at Yuu. "H-Hello?" Yuu waved at the prince who was in a daze.
"A-Ah! Y-Yes, sorry. Please lead the way" He said, face flushed from embarrassment. Yuu started leading the way, leaving the main entrance up to the second floor of the huge house, until they finally arrived at his bedroom door. He opened the door for the prince to enter first. They soon both entered the room.

"W-Welcome to my room, there's nothing much to see here." Yuu said, mentally cursing himself for stuttering. He walked towards his bed and sat down as the prince just analyzed the room. 'God the prince is so quiet, he hasn't said too much. But ngl he looks cute and handsome at the same time! If I were a girl right now, I would've fallen in love! Luckily am not into boys so~' Little did he know, that will change in the near future- I-I mean- Yuu thought as he stared at the prince, scanning his figure. It's already been a few minutes and the prince is still looking around, Yuu felt really uncomfortable cuz of the awkward atmosphere between them. So he decided to make small talk to at least get to know the boy more.
"Don't just stand there silly! Sit down!" He pouted childishly at the prince, and pat a spot next to him gesturing the prince to sit there. There it was again, a pang in the prince's heart. He complied and sat down next to him. Now that he got a closer look at Yuu, he started to check out his appearance. 'Fluffy black hair with one red strand standing out from the rest of his hair, big bright red eyes, white skin. He looks perfect, he looks quite nice as well, he looked... Cute..' The crown prince thought, he shook his head as his face heated up from thinking that about him. It's true that he was cute, but even blurting out the word itself to describe Yuu make him feel an unfamiliar feeling inside him.

"I'm Yuu, Yuu Rosea! It's nice to finally meet you your highness!" Yuu exclaimed in attempt to break the awkward silence, which worked. The prince just looked at him for a moment, before shaking his head.
"I-It's nice to meet you too, I-I'm Eiji, Eiji Yuria. And there's no need to address me s-so formally, Eiji is just fine.." The prince said as his ears slightly turned pink, which Yuu hadn't noticed.
"O-Oh, okay.. I hope we can be best friends Eiji!" Yuu beamed at the older boy and tackled him into a hug and they both fell onto the bed. It shook the prince at first, then he started to crack up and laughed at the cute interaction Yuu made. The younger blushed at his laugh and buried himself underneath his pillows. The prince chuckled.

"What do you do most of the time here Yuu? You have quite a big room and house, but it doesn't really compare to mine." He asked. 'God whether or not if he meant to boast that my room was smaller than his or not, I'm still hurt. Hmph.' He mentally pouted.
"W-Well, I usually just explore the mansion and stuff. I sometimes play with my older brother, b-but he's busy with his studies. My studies end early so I just explore the rest of the mansion for the rest of the day until we are called for lunch or dinner.." He said, with a bored expression. He then on rambled on about how boring inside the mansion was, there was no fun activity to do. Then suddenly stopped and turned around to face the prince. An idea popped up inside his big head of his.

"What's wrong?" The prince asked the younger boy, confused as why he suddenly came to a stop with rambling mid-sentence.
"I-It's nothing.. But anyways! Enough about me! What about you?" Yuu asked curiously, his eyes sparkled as if begging the prince to answer his question. The prince couldn't resist to say no as his ears turned pink yet again.
"F-Fine, but it's nothing really special.." He said. The rest of their afternoon was spent with them just rambling on about how boring their households were. The prince slowly opened up and talked more comfortable around Yuu. Until they were called for dinner.
