Chapter 5: Kidnapped?!

A/N: It's been a while since I updated ;-; Sorry! I was busy with finishing my school work, but it's school break now soooo~ I will update more often now (I hope), but problem is, I don't really remember the plot of the story where I was going with .-. So imma just wing it for now. Anyways! I'll probably be releasing 2 chapters for not updating for a month! Hope you enjoy this cringey story whoever you are~!

Yuu's POV

It was a bumpy ride, but nonetheless it was really refreshing. I'm currently in the carriage with Eiji (And two guards following behind, but we don't mind them) to go to the Kingdom. It was a nice weather, sunny with tad bits of clouds covering the light blue sky. I was too busy admiring the window to not notice anyone staring. I wonder what this new territory has to offer to me. I mean I already read the novel, but there might be a few changes, basing it off from every story I read with transmigration stories. But enough of that! We're almost here!

*Time skip cuz idrk what to write-*

"We're here!" I enthusiastically said, poor dude I probably broke his eardrums.
"Stop shouting, it's just the Kingdom" he said. He stepped out the carriage as well as the guards trailing behind us. I get it's for protection, but what's there to worry about in the Kingdom? We're nobles, so no body would dare to hurt us, right?
"Still! I still haven't gone here, y'know been trapped in the house ever since birth" I answered the gloomy prince trailing behind me. Not an outside person much? I mean me too, but I want to explore the world!
"Look! What's that!" I pointed to our side, it was a small bakery. I ran towards that direction with much excitement. I wonder.... OOO, I HOPE THEY SELL MACAROONS! I quickly scanned through what was on display.

"Good day, m'lord! What brings you here at a time like this...?" The baker asked.
"Hmm...? I just wanted to go through the kingdom!" I chirped. Being a child is way too fun for me, but the high-pitched voice is hurting my ears too a bit.
"Well, is there anything that you may want?" He asked. I looked through the display once again and spotted what I wanted. M A C A R O O N S. I immediately pointed at the macaroons in display. Am I really drooling over sweets? Y e s. I have a sweet tooth.

"You like sweets?" Eiji asked as he finally caught up. He's panting too much, was a few steps really that tiring?
"Well, yeah!" I said. The baker returned from packaging the items I requested.
"Here yo-" He stopped midway as he gaped at the person behind me. He immediately bowed down and greeted the prince. Weird? But ok? Eiji said he didn't need to bow, but he is a royal, so I guess it was necessary. The baker gave me the box of macaroons I ordered. As I was about to reach through my pockets, the baker stopped me.
"It's on the house m'lord, as this is your first time visiting the town." He smiled as he shook his head motioning, I didn't have to pay.
I frowned, "I insist, plus you were kind to me! I wanted to repay that kindness of yours Mr. Baker, so please take it!" I spoke. He was hesitant at first, but he knew I wouldn't take "No" as an answer, so he took the gold coins I had in hand and told him to keep the change.

I opened the box and drooled over the sight, MACAROONS! YES! I took the green one out and took a bite out of it. I moaned in delight as the sweet taste hit my taste buds. THIS IS THE BEST DAY! The baker looked enjoyed.
"It's really gooood!" I enthusiastically said while biting onto the same macaroon.
"It's really no big deal, but I'm glad you like it, is there anything else that piqued you're interests m'lord?" He chuckled, I shook my head and just said thank you for the macaroons. I looked to my side to see my companion just staring at me. Does he want one? I contemplated. Hmmmm... Sharing one wouldn't be that bad, so I guess I can give him one. I handed him the one I bit onto.
"Here, try it out! It's really good!" I smiled as he took the macaroon and ate all of it in one bite. That was fast. We said our goodbyes to the baker and continued exploring the town.
