Friday 8:15
Lewis, Yusef, and Zerina woke up as they saw me panicking. Then they turned on the monitor and tracked the flight and it showed that there is still 3 hours of travel to arrive in Germany.
You don't get it right? I followed IST(Indian Standard Time). The flight is supposed to reach Germany at 8 am following GMT(Greenwich Mean Time). (Clears throat)I know, I am stupid and it happens sometimes. We slept again as we did not have enough sleep. Only when we slept, our class becomes quiet. We were the only ones who switched on the reading lights and screaming at each other. We had lots of fun together. Later, the steward brought us the breakfast and it was already time for landing. So, the steward started collecting our headphones, pillows, and blankets and when he came to us, he sat down next to our seats and said "You can have the headphones with yourself, it was nice to have you with us". How sweet, he is right? ! My heart melted.
"Okay, and when did we approach our destination?" We noticed the plane going level, and at the same time slowing down. This is the pilots doing the approach. A 'Fasten Seat Belts' light is lit. We saw going through the clouds. Things on the ground begin growing larger and larger. Eventually, we saw the airport building, taxiways, aprons, parked airplanes and buildings, and perhaps cars and people. We finally landed but there's a problem again. We need to get connected to another flight and we've got only an hour to connect the flight. We knew nothing about Frankfurt and so we rushed out quickly and reported at the Transit Desk at the intermediate airport for connection and proceeded as per their advice. But before we reported, we had no idea if we need to collect our baggage back and check in again and WHERE IS THE TRANSIT DESK? And everything was far, and it took time to pass through the airport security gates to the departure hall. Lewis had perfumes in the carry baggage and it took long checking his things and I wore boots and belts where they told me to remove for them to check it thoroughly.
Now imagine you've got only 15 more minutes but you need to take 2 airport shuttles to go to the boarding hall. God!!! We only checked if we had our passes and passport and ran just the way we were. I ran without my shoes and belt, It was so embarrassing.
Our motto from the beginning was "To never think what others think about us because you never going to meet them again in our life."
Finally, we entered the airliner just 2 minutes before the flight took off. It's again two hours travel, It's boring, right?
