hey, sorry guys. I know it took quite a long time to get this out to you, but I was stuck. Writer's block. So sue me xD anyway, here you go, chapter eight! Hope you enjoy.
Chapter Eight
"Thanks a lot for helping clean up, I really owe you one." I figured I should at least thank her for all that hard work, it would have taken me days to figure out where everything went, but it seemed like Jenna has been over here plenty of times. Without her, I would have been completely lost.
She smiles at me, replying, "Don't worry about it, I'm used to cleaning up after people. Remember all my little siblings?" I had no idea she had siblings of any kind, or how many.
"Yeah I guess that's true," I say. I hope I didn't sound too unsure with the answer.
"So when do your parents come home?"
"They're coming back..." I had no idea. Did Leighton ever say where they were or when they'd be back? I couldn't remember. "I don't know." I end up saying.
Sh smiles wickedly. "Well I guess it's time for another party."
"Really? I'd rather not clean up after a bunch of teenagers all over again. That was an experience I'd rather not have again."
"I guess you're right," she shrugs. "Oh well. What do we do now?" I didn't even think of her staying, I thought I could just thank her for helping me clean and then just show her the door. Guess not, I can't just be a jerk, especially to her.
"Uh, we could go up to my room?" I suggested. I didn't know what was up there, but I was sure that Jenna would find something to do. She seemed so full of energy, it was enough for both of us. She surprised me by sprinting up the steps yelling on her way up. "Last one there is a rotten egg!" I had to smile at her enthusiasm, shaking my head. I ended up just racing after her. "Not if I can help it!"

After many hours of movies, popcorn, loud music, and dancing, she finally left. Now the place felt so... empty. I looked with longing at the bed, more tired than I have possibly ever felt.
Moving over to the dresser, I pull out a pair of neatly folded pajamas, all pink with these black skull and crossbones designs on them. Some new kind of trend? Whatever the case, I threw them over my arm and walked over to the bathroom door. I looked up in the mirror and paused. Looked down. I just didn't think I was ready to look at my new body, all exposed. Throwing the pajamas down into a jumbled heap, I decide on just sleeping in the clothes I had on.
Flopping in bed, I start thinking about my day with Jenna. After a while, it didn't even feel like I was Leighton anymore, I felt like... me. I fell into a deep sleep not long after.

I awoke hearing a thump. The room was pitch black, couldn't see anything in the lack of light. I pulled the covers up to my chin, scared of what might happen. Glancing over to my right, I notice the closet door lights were aglow. There was red light streaming through smoke coming through the crack under the two door closet. The doors proceed to creak open, streaming more red light into the room along with more smoke. Frightened, I pull the blanket up past my head, squeezing my eyes shut hoping I was just dreaming, telling myself it wasn't real. It CAN'T be real. Can it? I lower the covers to my eyes slowly, peeking above it toward the closet. I jumped in fright at what I saw. Standing there, in the opening of the door, surrounded by the red, glowing smoke, was a short little goblin like creature. I jumped back under the blanket again, eyes squeezed shut and telling myself there was no way I saw what I saw.
