As Hailey opened her eyes she realized that they fell asleep there. She slowly sat up to see her surroundings when she saw Thomas sleep so peacefully beside her. She checked her phone to see the time. As she read the lock screen number her eyes widened. She got up and shook Thomas.

“GET UP! Get up! We’re late!” She yelled not wanting to be late on the first day. He scrambled to his feet. 

“What happened? Who's dead?” He said still a little dizzy and half asleep.

“No ones dead but you will be if I’m late!” She said walking into the house. Thomas finally realized what was happening and he ran after her. “So can you drive me to school?” She asked, opening her luggage.

“Ah ya sure” he said, scratching the back of his neck. Hailey got changed and they got into the car. “Hey sorry you didn't get to meet my dad yesterday. I guess he had to stay late” Thomas said, starting the car.

“Don't worry I’ll meet him tonight” She said with a smile. They got to school on time and walked in together. Thomas started to tell her about the school when a boy walked up to them.

“Hey Stiles! Whos this?” The boy said with a smile. Hailey looked confused. “Stiles?” she thought but didn’t say anything.

“Oh hey Scott this is Hailey. Hailey, this is Scott” Hailey smile “Hey” she said.

“Wait, are you the girl he's been talking about all week?” Scott asked. Hailey smiled and looked at Thomas or maybe Stiles now, she wasn’t sure. 

“All week huh?” She said in a teasing way. Stiles stretched his neck “Not all week” he said with one hand on his neck. Scott lined in and whispered in Haileys ear “Allll weeeek…” He said loud enough for Stiles to hear. Hailey smiled. 

“Well, Scott, I think we are going to be very good friends.” She said with a smirk and Scott smiled. Stiles rolled his eyes and continued walking. 

“So how long are you staying?” Scott asked, there was a pause as she thought “I’m just asking cuz Stiles said you're visiting” as Scott said that Thomas interrupted.

“I just meant I didn’t know how long you were staying or if you're just visiting” He said then realizing his words didn’t make much sense. She smile and responded to Scotts question “I’m not sure yet all I know is I don’t want to go back to where I was” 

“Oh well where are you from?” he said it being the obvious next question. “Uh well..” Stiles looked at her not knowing what to say. 

“Well I’m not so sure where I was born but I grew up in a beautiful glade in a small community in LA. And then some of us moved and we kinda went everywhere.” She said and Thomas just looked at her with a wick smile. Scott just smile and said “Wow sounds awesome”

“It was” as she said that two girls walked up to them.

“Hey Scott, hey Stiles” There was the name again “And who are you?” One girl said with strawberry blonde hair in a dress.

“Uhh”

“What she means is hello you must be new here what's your name?” The other girl who came with her said she had brown hair and it was parted to the side.

“Oh hi I’m Hailey” She said with a friendly wave and smile.

“This is Allison, my girlfriend and Lydia” Scott said and then lined in to whisper into Haley's ear “Stiles has had a crush on her since the 3rd grade” Hailey giggled and stiles gave a ‘hey’ and nogged scott. It seemed as though the girl named Lydia didn’t hear.
