"He's dead?!" Ten exclaimed as he sat at the dining table with Johnny who was busy eating the baked cream veggies. "Since when?" Ten furrowed his eyebrows as he eyed his husband.

"Five years." Johnny took a spoonful of the baked stuff. "I don't know much but they say five years ago they found his dead body." He reached to his shirt pocket and took out the old polaroid photo and slid it towards the doctor.

Ten picked up the photo of the handsome teenager while he listened to Johnny's calm soothing voice.

"Uriel Parker. He ran away from the Serson Asylum five years ago. The hospital officials filed a missing person case, few days later he turned up dead." Johnny put down the spoon and scratched his chin. "From what I remember ten years ago, the cops said dead body was charred. They could only identify him from the blue uniform of the patients at that time and his distinct bone structure of cheeks. That's what I know. The guy's already gone."

Ten examined the faded photo. It was an indeed handsome boy with high cheekbones. If it weren't for his bad conditions, this guy couldn've dominated GQ magazine's coverpage. But he's dead? "Is that the reason why everyone looked at me as if I'm a weirdo, when I asked at the Asylum about Parker?"

The alpha frowned. "In what way did they look at you?"

Johnny raised a brow. "Maybe they were ashamed?"

Ten gave him a puzzled look. "Ashamed? Of what?"

"I know you're new to the city but even when I was kid, I mean I basically grew up in Miami. Even then at that time, Serson Asylum had a reputation of unrivalled, remarkable security. The Serson Association is famous for its high security standards, that's why they have so many Asylums all across the world."

"What does Serson Association has to with Parker Guy?"

"Ten, don't be ridiculous." Johnny sighed. "Serson Asylum is known for its high security standards. Uriel Parker ran away from the Miami asylum, which literally means he broke through it. It immediately says that the security was lax at the Miami's Asylum. Tell me isn't it shameful for an Association like Serson to know that one of their best guarded Asylum's security was breached by some batshit crazy guy who ran away?"

"Oh..." Realization dawned upon the omega. "So by asking about Uriel Parker, I actually exposed the skeletons in their closet? This incident must've been scandalous back then. What happened at that time?"

Johnny shrugged. "I was just a newly appointed detective. I don't know anything about what happened next. But right now, it seems this should've made big news back in the day."
