Jimin was heaving his weak body back to where his classmates were still gathered.
Away from the younger boy, away from his scent, away from these urging feelings that started to grow stronger and stronger the longer he was near him.
He was lucky Jungkook broke eye contact, because he wasn't sure if he would have been able to fight his omega any longer to not run over to him. The moment their eyes disconnected he took the chance to turn away, even though everything inside of him was churning, his body opposing and his omega literally howling in pain and tearing at his skin.
He never would have thought fighting his wolf was so draining. But then again, he never had to fight his omega like this before.
The pain was getting worse again, only now it wasn't just his lower abdomen that was aching. His whole body was aching from the fingertips to his toes, feeling hot and then again so cold, shuddering in waves. It was a feeling he had never experienced before and it left him lightheaded, weak and, quite frankly, a little scared.
On top of that, every smell that hit his nose was just too much, making him so sick that he felt like throwing up on the spot.
Even though he was still walking on the shadow side of the field, close to the railings to support his shaking body, students noticed him. His condition and his strong preheat scent just couldn't be ignored. They were watching him, whispering, pointing fingers. Alphas were turning their heads, nostrils flaring. omegas and betas were looking at him in a pitiful way.
Jimin felt like crying. He hated that people saw him like that. Weak. Fragile. Vulnerable.
He needed to get out of here, fast.
The fastest way to get away from all the students without having to pass his classmates was to leave the sports field directly and head towards the school building on the right.
He made his way under the railings and walked towards the high school building, away from the sports field, away from all these watching eyes.
Once he was inside he let out a loud, pained sob that he intently held back before. Jimin was only glad that all the students were gathered on the sports field and nobody heard his omega's desperate noises and calls for a certain younger alpha boy.
Gosh, his father would be so disappointed in him.
Seeking privacy, he headed back to his classroom where his condition only got worse as the time passed. His cramps got even more painful now, he was sweating like he had just run a marathon, but worst of it all: his body began to produce slick and he was craving Jungkook like never before, an alpha he barely even knew.
It was weird and embarrassing, but his mind was clouded with pain and want, his rationality long gone.
Was this still the preheat everyone had talked about? Because he sure didn't imagine it to be this painful and degrading. He regretted ever wanting to go into actual heat, because this was already the worst he had ever felt.
Honestly, fuck being one of the cool and mature kids, he'd rather not have to go through that misery, thank you very much.
Panting and whining was how Taehyung and Hoseok found him fifteen minutes later.
»Jimin, what the hell!« was the first thing Taehyung said while rushing to the corner where Jimin had curled himself into a little ball, hugging his knees and his body that shuddered in waves, his tanktop was soaked with sweat.
