"Did you even get any sleep? I mean, look at the state of your hair, have you even brushed your teeth? Oh great heavens, have you washed your face? Quick, eat something right now, you can't pass out on me in the middle of the tournament! Someone, get him a glass of water ASAP!"

"Jiheon!" Jay let out a loud whine, pushing a half-awake Jake towards the entrance of the motel's buffet, "Please calm down, he can't hear half of what you're saying," he gestured towards the drowsy brunette, who was slowly walking over towards the plates in hopes of getting some food in his system.

"Why does he look like the dead corpse's bride, what the hell did you do with him?" she hissed back at the blonde, worriedly observing Jake who was walking around the somewhat big buffet, disorientated.

"He was just very worried about today yesterday," Jay sighed, grabbing his own plate as Jiheon tailed after, "so let him be for now. It's better to have him disorientated whilst not knowing what day it is at ass o'clock than have him bounce around like a bundle of nerves ready to burst."

She sighed, "If you say so," pointing a threatening index finger towards Jay, she continued, "but you better fix him up and get him ready before we head to the tournament or else."

Jiheon didn't finish her sentence as she walked away with a slight glare, keeping her pointer finger pointer towards Jay who stood by the salad bar in a cold sweat.

"She's really something else," he mumbled to himself as he scanned the area, hoping to find Jake putting food on his plate and not running into walls.

Luckily, he spotted the brunette placing eggs on his plate, his eyes half-open and hair in every possible direction. Jay smiled softly and was about to make his way towards his best friend but soon stopped in his tracks when he noticed a certain someone making a b-line towards Jake.

Sunghoon.

The blonde watched the taller swiftly maneuver himself to be close to Jake, acting as if he had been standing there the whole time.

Jay squinted a bit, but didn't burst their bubble, knowing the last thing Jake needs right now is his own friend causing unwanted drama.

"Good morning, Jakey," Jake moved his head towards his side at a slow pace, glancing at the person who had appeared in his personal bubble out of nowhere.

If it was any other situation, Jake would've freaked out and most likely dropped his plate full of eggs, but in this state where he is half-asleep with no sense of being human, he somehow couldn't care less.

"Goo' mo'nin'," he mumbled, turning his head back towards the fruit bar, stacking some melon on the side of his plate, not paying much attention to the random combination that he called his breakfast.

"Y'know," Sunghoon stared down at the brunette's plate with a raised eyebrow, stacking his own strawberries and bananas on his plate, "I never thought that eggs, melon, pancakes, and ham would go well together, but you might be on to something."

Jake simply stared at his plate, eyes a little unfocused, as he hummed out as a reply, making his way towards the seating area, magically spotting Jay in the mids of a random bunch of people - the hockey team, the physics team, and a bunch of other stayers of the motel.

"Can I sit with you, guys?" Sunghoon asked, already walking beside Jake who was going at a snail pace.

Jake nodded without thinking about anything, just wanting to get some food in his stomach and chug a cup of coffee.
