Jake was a bit irritated, his constant leg bouncing and twitching a clear indicator that there was something keeping his mind occupied. His arms were crossed and eyebrows furrowed as he glared holes into the other side of the physics club.

After the very intimate kiss, the two had sat in comfortable silence for a bit, their hearts beating incredibly fast, but the moment was short lived when Sunoo came storming into the classroom, demanding that Sunghoon come back and help him and Jungwon out at the SBC office.

They had pulled away in a hurry when they heard the door open, and the raven didn't have much time to say anything as the younger dragged him out of the classroom, meaning Jake was left feeling a little dejected and lonely.

He knows it's a little silly to feel like this, Sunghoon was busy and he most definitely wasn't supposed to be in the physics classroom helping Jake cut out colourful paper slips, but he couldn't help feel saddened by the sudden disappearance of the taller.

Jake is known to be an over-thinker and as soon as the raven had left the vicinity, he couldn't help but think about how Sunghoon might start regretting the kiss.

What if I'm a horrible kisser or what if I did something that made the kiss uncomfortable for him, but he was too nice to say anything. Ugh, that would be so cringey.

Jake sighed and placed his head in his hands, a bright blush blooming on the apples of his cheeks as he thought back to the kiss.

Sunghoon was so gentle and slow, he allowed Jake to  get comfortable and set the pace whilst simultaneously guiding him in the right direction. He could still smell the younger's perfume that had clung onto his own sweater, the thought of being engulfed by Sunghoon's arms into a tight and warm hug sounding all too pleasing in a moment where he is missing the raven a little too much.

He couldn't help groaning, finding his intensely-beating heart a little annoying, he for sure isn't able to now properly function when his mind is filled with Park Sunghoon and his dumb soft hands, sweet scent, and gentle kisses.

He was about to cry from frustration, really.

Jake glanced down at this phone that had been abandoned on the table, checking to see if maybe the taller had sent him a message or something, but all he was met with was a random game notification and a text from Jay.

Jake sighed, typing back a small reply saying that he's busy with his biology paper today, groaning to himself as he thought about the fact that he'll have to stay late again. He should text his Hyung to see if he could pick him up after work.

"Jake-ah," he snapped his head up, locking his phone in the process, "could you help us with the door situation? We need all the hands we can get to hold down the paper."

The brunette let out a small puff of air, already standing up as he nodded a 'yes', not really having another choice.

Maybe Sunghoon will text him after festival preparation.

Jake stumbled as he made his way to the library, hating how the school's stairs always feel too slippery for his sneaker-clad feet, "Dumb stairs," he mumbled as he entered the library, locating a small group of students already seated on the faraway circular table, discussing something passionately.

His biology paper was a group project, meaning Jake has to spend two or three days this week working on a presentation and lab report with people he has maybe talked to once or twice.

As known, Jake was really socially awkward, having Jay as his one and only real friend. Of course he had the physics team and everything and they're all pretty close and even hangout sometimes, but it wasn't like he could go to any of them and casually talk, his gut and mind telling himself that he would simply be annoying and overstepping his boundaries.

His biology group was a mix of weird people, if you asked him. The Technical was known for having smart and witty students, all the departments science based and so on, but many don't truly understand how weird the students could get.

The project was made for groups of 4 - without him, there is one more physics department member, Kang Taehyun. He has talked to the male more times than with anyone else, mostly because the male was good at maths and often helped Jake figure out the complicated calculator settings. He liked him, he was a very fun guy with a dry sense of humour, that made both Jay and Jake cackle often in club meetings.

The other two were unknown to him - he knows their names and maybe their department, that's about it.

One was Jisu - she was a chemistry wiz and was fairly known for having an internship in a highly respected fashion company at a young age. She was very pretty and popular and well-known by the student body, so Jake wasn't too unfamiliar with her.

But the last member, hell, he doesn't even know if he knows his name correctly, but he was a jock, on the hockey team as well, Jake remembers his face from the trip to the tournament a week ago.

"Jake, over here!" Taehyun waved to him, making Jake finally take that tired step forward and head to the circular table.

"Hello," he offered a gentle smile as he sat down next to Taehyun, taking out his biology notebook and pencil case.

"Is it true that you're dating Park Sunghoon?" Jake nearly dropped his belongings, ears burning as he stares at the jock who had asked the question out of nowhere. A "hello" would've been a very nice start, thank you.

Before the hockey player could pester Jake more, Jisu smacked him on the back of the head, "Hey, stop snooping into others' business, how can you bluntly ask a question like that, huh? Do you have no manners?"

"I'm just curious!" he defended himself, rubbing the sore spot on his head, "Everyone is talking about it on the team, our ace has never shown interest in anyone and suddenly he's texting someone with a lovesick gaze, cancelling plans to go meet someone and even-"

"And even what, Jaehyuk Hyung?" the table turned their attention to the new voice in the library, everyone's eyes widening once they got a face full of a pissed off looking Park Sunghoon.
