I boarded the private jet, greeting the General, who was waiting to me inside. 

"Why did you want to come back? Don't have a girlfriend here?" he asked me, I shrugged, sadness filling my body once again. 

"Not anymore" the general looked at me with furrowed brows, I sighed, "I was gonna propose when I came back, I come back, I go to her house, nobody was home so I used my spare key, I go in and look for her, she is not downstairs so I went to her room, I go in and she is fucking some rando guy named, Mason, what kind of name is Mason?" I complain to the general. 

"My name is Mason, Commander" he said in a serious voice, my eyes widened, I stuttered as he laughed, "I'm kidding, my name Lucas" I exhaled, "but anyways, is that why you wanted to come back?" I nodded. 

"Yup, I really trusted her, guess we weren't meant to be" I said, he patted my back in comfort. 

"It's fine, Commander, if it makes you feel better, my wife cheated on me while I was away for a mission" he said, the two of us sat in silence for the rest of the flight. 

Soon enough the General fell asleep, I stood up and went to the back of the plane, sitting in one of the seats, I took the ring box out, opening it and staring at the diamond mineral sitting on top of the platinum ring. 

"That ring is beautiful" I heard someone say from behind me, I turned around and saw a pretty lady standing behind my seat. 

"Thanks" I offered her a smile, the lady smiled back. 

"I'm sorry, I'm Olivia, the General's daughter" she extended her hand towards me, I smiled and took her hand, shaking it, her grip was strong and firm. 

"Nice hand shake," she giggled, "I'm Y/n-"

"Y/l/n," she smiled, I blinked, surprised that she knew who I was, "my dad talks about you, he says you are the best he has seen" I smiled, "and that you will be the one training the newbies, A.K.A me" 

"I'll be training you?" Olivia nodded, "You are in the army?" she nodded again, "filling the legacy?" 

"How'd you know?" she asked me with a smile, I put the ring box back in my pocket, turning to see the girl sitting beside me fully. 

"My dad was the Commander of the National Army too, and my mom was an Army Emergency Doctor" Olivia smiled, "I'm kind of a legacy" 

"'Was'?" the green eyed girl asked, I nodded slowly. 

"Both died, my dad had a heart attack, and my mom had an Aneurism" I told her, her eyes saddened, "don't worry, I still have my friends with me, they are in the army too, but they are with their families at the moment. 

"So then why aren't you with them? Don't you guys lives near each other?" the girl asked, I nodded my head. 

"Yes, but I was going to propose to my girlfriend, but I found her cheating on me with some guy named Mason, so I decided to come back instead of going insane in my house, which literally has no furniture yet," I told the girl, 'did I just open up to a total stranger?' Olivia nodded, she reached her hand out to hold my arm.

"I'm sorry for that, Y/n, whoever your girlfriend was, she just lost a good thing" Olivia said, she held my hands, her skin was soft and warm, opposite to my rough cold hands. 

"Don't be sorry, you weren't even there, love" my mouth closed as soon as that word left it, I've never called someone else 'love' apart from Kalani, Olivia's cheeks flushed a light shade of red. Her grip on my hands tightening ever so slightly, mine gripping hers back. (The face claim for Olivia is Olivia Rodrigo)
