Prompt: Maddie gets jealous of Y/n and her duet partner, so Maddie confesses her feeling for Y/n

Your POV

We were all sitting in the middle of the room waiting for pyramid to start, I was sitting in the middle with Brooke on my left and Maddie on my right. Abby came in the room five minutes later, the moms were already on the side of the room waiting for her to begin the pyramid.

"Good morning girls, moms," we all said good morning back, "so the pyramid, first we have: Nia, you came in third with your solo, why? Your turns were really sloppy; next we have Paige: you didn't really do anything but the group dance, which came in first, so I don't really have anything to judge you on; next we have Mackenzie, you didn't do anything last week and you weren't on the group dance, so there's nothing to judge; last one on the bottom row is Chloe: you did good on your solo and the group dance, but your mother was a pain in the ass; then first one in the second row is Brooke: your solo came in first and so did the group dance, but you could have used the small corrections I gave you and you would've been amazing; next Maddie: you got second place on your solo, first place to loose; and on top of the pyramid for the first time in a month is.......Y/n!: your solo came in first over all of you category, you beat Maddie and Chloe, you were outstanding on the group dance, not one single mistake, I have to say that I'm proud of you, kid" Abby said with a smile on her face, everyone congratulated me for being on the top, Maddie hugged me and then blushed, I wonder why. I looked over to Gianna who had a big smile on her face while looking at me, she gave me a thumbs up. My mom(in this imagine your mom will be Christi and your fraternal twin sister is Chloe) had a big smile on her face and Chloe was hugging me from behind, since she was sitting behind me.

"So I have two solos, one duet, and the group dance:" well waited for her to say who would be having the solos and the duet, "one solo will be given to Mackenzie, your solo is called 'Little girl' it's kind of dark, but I think you can do it; the other solo will be going to Maddie, your solo is a contemporary dance, it's very mature that's why I chose you to do it, and you better win first place; now the duet will be going to Brooke and...........Y/n, great combination, it's an acrobatic contemporary dance, it's flirty, and since you both have great chemistry I think the it will be perfect;" I looked over to Brooke and we smiled at each other. "Now the group dance involves everyone including Mackenzie" Kenzie smiled, "it's a cute dance with easy but beautiful steps, I think that you guys can do it" she said, we nodded, she clapped her hands, "ok mothers you're dismissed, girls let her to work" Abby said. After rehearsing for about two hours, we took a break of ten minutes before Brooke and I had to go in to learn our duet.

We went into studio A to start to learn our duet with Abby, most of the girls and their moms are in mezzanine watching us or doing homework, but most of them were watching us.

Interview with Christi

"I think that Brooke and Y/n have great chemistry, I, for once, will agree with Abby that they both work great together, and if we're being honest, *whispering* they would make a cute couple, but don't tell them I said that"

Maddie's POV

I was watching Brook and Y/n practice their duet, and it was really bothering me. In the dance Y/n had to lift Brooke by her waist and do a couple of spins like that, then at the end they had to act like the my were going to kiss, but instead of kissing Abby made them just look at each other with their foreheads pressed against each other.

"Dang, mom Brooke and Y/n look good together" Paige told her mom in a whisper but I heard since I was sitting in front of them. I rolled my eyes slightly, but looked down to continue my answering my homework.
