JJ, Pope, Kie and I were at The Wreck when John B came in. Kie bombarded him with questions; how is it feeling and where is he living now.
"So, I'm staying at Tannyhill." John B announced.
"I'm sorry. You're staying where?" Kie questioned as she walked behind the counter to get waters.
"Tannyhill." John B repeated nonchalantly.
"So you're living with Sarah Cameron." Kie reiterated John B's answer.
"Okay, look, the only reason I'm living there is because her dad bailed me out, right?" John B walked over to the table we were all sitting at. "And it's way better than foster care, which, by the way, is where I was about to go if Ward didn't..."
"Hey, so do you have a membership to the clubs now?" Pope asked sarcastically, causing me to chuckle.
"I don't know, Pope." John B sighed, sitting down at the round table.
"What about those golf carts they drive around? You get one of them?" JJ walked around to stand next to me.
"Does it come with a sweater-vest, or do you have to buy one on your own?" Pope leaned back, putting his hands behind his head.
"Look, you promised. You said you weren't with her." Kie said in disappointment.
"Bro, just own it. She got you." JJ leaned his arm on my shoulder.
"Look, if you wanna hang out with her, that's fine." Kie shrugged. "But I'm letting you know now that I'm not doing anything with Sarah."
"I second that." I spoke up.
"Do you guys see her here?" John B questions, none of us answered. "No, right. Okay. A little focus would be fantastic. We've got the map, right?"
"Well, it's out of whack 'cause the guy was ganja'd when he drew it." JJ mentioned.
"It's 'cause the coast has changed." I replied in a 'duh' tone. JJ gave me a look before taking a tip of his drink.
"So we just have to look for landmarks that haven't changed." Pope announced.
