Itachi X Reader

" we need to move faster, we have to save Gaara" I hear Naruto yell back at all of us as we jump from branch to branch

" Gaara is going to be ok Naruto" I state as i try and comfort my Conrad as best as possible, I could feel the anger steaming off of Naruto as i fell back  and let him have  his own space. i am very worried about him ive never seen him so worked up it scared me a little honestly

My mind started to wonder off as i thought about what could happen on this mission, i know we were going up against the Akatsuki,  personally i know a few in the group, hell Ive had a few battle against some of them but there was only one person who actually scared me on this earth and he was apart of them.

" Itachi Uchiha" you hear Naruto state as he jumps down from a tree, breaking me from my train of thought. I freeze in my tracks as i look over at Kakashi who was already looking back me. Kakashi was the only person who knew everything about Itachi and i. He was the person who was there for me when everything went down, he was also the one who let me see Itachi before he ran off to join the Akatsuki.

" are you alright Y/N" Kakashi states bring me out of my thoughts again this time breaking me from the trance my body was in, all i did was nodded in his direction. I didn't know how to feel all i knew in this moment i  had to fight, fight for me fight for my peris and for Gaara. Shoved all the emotional feeling I was feeling down and stood tall next to Kakashi, i wont let him get to me now.

I stand there with a smirk on my face as i look at Itachi with no fear in my eyes, he looks back at me with no expression just a blank look but i knew that just his front he puts up for everyone.

" everyone  whatever you dont look into his eyes, we will have to fight him by just watching his feet do you understand" Alittle late for that now don't you think Kakashi? i rolled my eyes and looked up as soon as i looked up everything started to turn grey and black.

'oh great here we go' I thought to myself as I shake my head 'how could I be so stupid as to look in the eyes I should know better then that'

" Y/N" you hear Itachi call out as you both stand on a platform he was only a few feet away from you, you look up at him and see a smile on his face, it melts my heart a little bit but I keep a good poker face

" What the fuck do you want?" I state as I stood my ground, the only emotion I let myself feel is angry as he starts to walk closer to me. as he is only a step away from me i backed away not wanting to be in contact with him because I would most likely lose it. I only made it a few steps back before he flicked his finger up and a wall flies up trapping me.

" You still look as Beautiful as the day i left, i have never stopped thinking about you, all i ever want is to be with you" He stated as he walks closer, his smile grew bigger. Your heart fluttered at his words, but you still remain emotionless on the face expect for a small eye roll after he finished his sentence

" Are you really trying to play mind games with me right now? if you truly wanted to be with me then you wouldn't have left, you never want me Itachi, you just liked the thought of me the thought of someone who could actually love and care for you. when someone wants someone or something they don't just pick up and leave. I cried, i begged and pleaded for you to stay i even foolishly begged you to take me with you but I'm not that little girl anymore you changed me when you left I have no love left for you or anyone"

I felt tears start to stream down my cheeks, I focused my eyes at the ground hoping he would just let me out. I just stand there unable to control my breath or tears all these small memories come flooding back

He closed the gap between us before I could even realize what was happening. he raised both his hands up cupping my cheeks and making me look at him. As soon as my eyes locked with his all the love I tried to hard to burry down came back. He wiped my tears from my face, his smile turned into a frown as tears formed into his eyes also.

" I had to leave, i had no choice there is so much you don't know, so much of my own pain and suffering that came along with me staying or  leaving, but all the pain and suffering never changed my feeling for you. The thought of you was what got me through all the rough nights. whenever i get sad i think of the way you made me feel and it helps me stay sane. You created something beautiful in my mind, something that will never go away. I'm sorry i left you behind, i had no other choice,  i didn't want to take this precious beautiful innocent thing in my life and turn it into a monster like myself. Just like back in the day You and Saskue are everything to me nothing will ever change that, I love you Y/N  no matter how far i travel, no matter all the things i see, and no matter how many people i meet you will always be home to me" he now had his own tears running down his eyes, i reach my own hand up and wipe his tears just like he did to me. i smiles up at him as he looks down at me a new smile came a crossed his face also. i started to speak

" I love you Itachi, i never did stop loving you i just turned off my emotions as best as i could but the love was always there, just like you i never have and never will stop loving you" Right after I spoke my last word Itachi reaches down grabbing my face and kissing me i was taking back a little but kissed back. My heart started to skip a beat and my stomach filled with butterflies. I felt so safe in this moment nothing else matter other then us. If I could've have stayed there forever i would have.

" thank you for everything you have done and will do for me, you're my person, and i will never forget you, i promise before I'm gone forever ill see you again i love you beautiful please take care of yourself you're so special to me and everyone else ill see you soon my love" he states as he raised his index and pointed finger to me tapping my forehead like he use to do when we were kids. tears stream down my checks as the colors of the real world start to fade in
