Your POV

You and Hinata Uzumaki walk down the streets of the hidden leaf village, you watch as your best friend watches the ground she walks on trying hard not to be noticed by anyone you could tell she was trying to get home fast. You two had just ran to the store to grab a pregnancy test you look over to her as she clutches the brown paper shack for dear life. Her pace starts to pick up as you both round a corner you could tell she was starting to get anxious as your house came into view. you grabbed her hand as you tried to calm her down but that didn't seem to work

" Everything is going to be ok, no matter what happens you have an amazing husband and best friend to help you with whatever you need" you felt as her extremely tight grip started losing on your hand she shuts her eyes and takes a breath in as you walk up to the door. You reach into your pocket digging around for the keyring that holds all your keys.

" What happens if Naruto or I have to leave for a mission and one of us dies? I don't want my child to have to go through that type of pain" you hear her say in a sad tone you finally find your keys taking them out and unlocking your door and opening it for you and Hinata to walk in. You pause for a second as you look around noticing your partner wasn't home you turn, 'it's not like them to be gone this late' you thought as you placed your keys on the coffee table

"I Promise on my own life that if you are naruto dies I will step in a give that baby an amazing life I would never let my godchild suffer ever my father would never stand for that" you state leading Hinata to the bathroom as you finish your sentence you think back to your father, Jiraya, and a small tear slides down ' i wish he could have seen them get married' you thought to yourself as Hinata takes the pregnancy test out of the bag

" Um can you give me a moment please," she asks politely you nodded walking out of the bathroom closing the door behind you, and sitting on the couch that is right in front of the door you twiddled my thumbs as you wait anxiously.

Finally, after what felt like hours, Hinata opened the door, she has tears in her eyes as she holds up the pregnancy test to you. right smack dab in the middle 2 lines laid. ' pregnant' you said in your mind with a huge smile on your face you look up at her tears forming in your own eyes. 'I can't believe this is happening father would be so proud'

" This is amazing," you say as you run and hug your best friend. 'You're gonna be a godparent' you thought to yourself, you've always wanted kids of your own but your Partner, Y/F/N/C, didn't really want them themselves so you figured the only way you would be any type of parent would be is if your best friend had a kid.

You let go of Hinata and watch as she falls down and cries, your beaming smile quickly turns into a frown as you get on the floor and hug her.

"Im scared Y/N, what if I'm not a good mom, what if i can provide for my child what if-" you cut Hinata off

" Hinata Uzumaki, don't EVER says such bad things about yourself you are literally the most caring person I know you would give the shirt off your back for anyone who needed it, you would climb mountains in the freezing cold in just your underwear just to make sure the people you care about most are safe, you're going to be an amazing mom and I know that Naruto is going to be an amazing dad, I know that both of you will show this kid unconditional love and never give up on it till you're last breath and no matter what happens I'm always gonna be here to help you and show you unconditional support, I love you like you're my own sister" you finish you watched as Hinata stops crying and replaces her frown with a smile she didn't say much for a few moments just hugged you.

She finally let go of you looking down at the test and smiling you could feel the ora of the room shift from sad to happy. it made you extremely happy to finally see your best friend get everything she wanted, a family with the boy she's loved since day one.

" Thank you Y/N, you're an amazing friend and I'm glad my child is gonna have a godparent like you" Hinata states breaking you out of your thoughts you look down and smile at Hinata trying not to cry again you give her one last hug as you pull her up from the floor

" Should i go tell Naruto now?" Hinata asked as she brushes herself off you nod as she start to head to the door smiling from ear to ear

" you're the best friend anyone could ask for" she states before walking out the onto the busy street
