FOUR HOURS LATER....
"I knew that fucker was going to let us sleep outside!" Hector complained under his sleeping bag.
"I don't get how Eva forgot about us," Granger asked into the dark tent.
"Because no doubt she's busy riding that fucker's dick for what he did today. Fucker didn't even send us some food!" Tucker griped.
"I think we should tell Eva we're sleeping on the ground and haven't eaten yet." Granger decided, and Hector and Tucker nodded in agreement.
"There are two special forces marines and a navy seal in here and you guys are whining like a bunch of girls." Sam pointed out.
"In the marines, they fed us at least!" Granger pointed out.
Fed up of the whining, Sam got up and said, "I'll tell Noah, that we need better arrangements than this. Not that I'm complaining, but I need to be someplace less chatty."
A chorus of snitch, kiss ass and suck up followed him out, but Sam was used to it since he was put on the Secret Service detail. He often felt his fellow agents only tolerated him because of his closeness with the POTUS and FLOTUS. Ironically it was the same reason they kept their distance.
He was making his way to the back of the house when the shadow almost ran into him. He stopped it by slamming it against the side of the house. He automatically searched for weapons, his hand roaming over some very delectable curves until a feminine shriek made him stop then there were soft curses.
"Who the fuck is you?" The small shadow asked in a husky midwest accent.
As Sam's eyes adjusted to the dark he made out red hair and asked, "Eva?"
"Word to the not so wise asshole. If you're gonna feel up a woman in the dark, the least you can do is get her name right."
"Look I'm not from around here..."
"No shit."
"Maybe you should tell me who you are and what you're doing here."
"Firstly, you're the stranger and secondly I ain't got to tell you squat! Go fuck yourself Feely!"
Seeing as this was going nowhere, Sam solved the problem by picking up the cursing fighting female and carrying her to the back porch. She was making quite a scene that brought Eva and the Decker clan outside.
"Who are you?" Simon asked rifle in hand.
"He's part of our security detail," Noah explained as he joined them.
"Did you do this Sam?" Eva whispered in shock as she watched the woman.
"Do what?" Sam asked then began to explain "I found this one at the side of the house. I was just gonna bring her and..." His words died as he finally got a good look at the woman, "What the hell?"
"Did you do this Sam?" Eva repeated as she stepped up to him in what Sam recognized as her 'You better run tone'
"He didn't do it." The woman informed them, "This is my husband's handy work."
"Who are you?" Noah asked.
"She's my niece Skylar." Simon answered, "And this is just one of the many times she's shown up looking like this." He gripped, "We fix her up, beg her to stay and she goes right back to him."
"She is not going back this time." Eva declared then asked, "Uncle Simon, can you get me a first aid kit."
"I'll tell your mama you're here," Simon muttered as he left.
