"Ugh..." Noah groaned.

"What island?" She repeated.

"I need to talk to you," Noah said instead.

"About what?"

"First...where's the box the flash drive came in?"

"In the case ...why?

"We need the box. I'll explain after we get the box." Noah said, rising from his seat.

Eva watched him shrewdly but followed silently as he left the office putting something in his pocket as he went.

"What's in your pocket?"

"Are you investigating me now? Noah asked with a shaky grin.

"What are you hiding from me?" Eva asked softly.

"Nothing...just wait," Noah said, and Eva remained quiet as they headed to the bedroom.

He closed the door behind her and ordered, "Get the case."

She did as he ordered and handed the unopened case over to him. Without taking it, he asked. "Open it, please." She pressed her finger against the scanner then handed it to him. He lifted the bottom out then pulled out a vault key.

"How did you know that was there? That looks like a vault key!" Eva exclaimed.

"I...uh...watched the rest of the flash drive."

"You could never stop could you!" Eva griped. "What! Is my life your own little investigation! You think this is some fun little Easter Egg hunt! I don't want to know anymore! I just want to forget!" She screeched, taking the key from him and heading to the bathroom.

Noah stepped in the way and quickly wrestled the key from her, "You need this key, Eva," Noah quickly explained when it looked like she would attack him. "It leads to an island."

"An island?"

"It's like your inheritance!" Noah simplified.

"I don't want anything!" Eva shrieked then whispered, "I don't deserve anything."

"Baby this is huge! Who knows what your father hid there?" Noah said excitedly, grabbing her shoulders.

Eva eyed him shrewdly and stated angrily, "And the inquisitive five-year-old wants to go treasure hunting."

Noah fought back a grin and said sternly, "You might as well finish it. It's like ripping off a bandage all at once. We could go after Christmas with the in-laws and take Ethan along since he has the second key. Come on, Eva."

Eva sighed and grumbled, "Why do I think you're going to go with or without me?"

"Inquisitive five-year-old, remember? Okay, I need to know. You guys are like a case that I need to solve. Please say you'll go so I don't feel guilty about wanting to go without you." Noah begged.

"Fine! We'll go!" Eva conceded bitterly, "That's only because you'll be a whiny child about it and then you'll never tell me what you find."

"True," Noah admitted with a grin. "I'm going to a secret island!" He gushed, "I'll be like Phantom...no he was in Africa not really an island and he got to fight crime..."

"Please stop talking like that!" Eva said tiredly. Noah grinned sheepishly, and God forgive her, just like that, she blushed. His grin widened, and she asked, "How do you do that? Make me angry then make me want to eat you up at the same time?"

"A gift," He boasted with a grin.

"Well, stop it," She ordered, and he kept on grinning, "I said stop it!" He attacked tickling her all over and she laughed uncontrollably, "Noah, stop!" She complained but continued laughing as he tickled her, both of them collapsing to the floor.
