Chapter 22 A Brief Respite

Third Person POV

The next day Arthur and his team got their graduation clothes and caps and went to explore the Capital City it was known by no other names it was the main meeting place for the Council. It has the most advance technology available to humans along with the strongest people in the world. Whether it be the Hunters who hunt the many Beasts of the world the Council or anyone else who rules or leads over a country they will come to this city at one point as such it's always bustling. Many people from all over the world come to sell their products, to buy products, to hire help, or to join a Hunting Agency.

Arthur and Sandra lead the tour with their friends as they lived in this city from sometime before needing to move out as no final schools were located in the city. As the final rite of passage is to make it here it was deemed unfair to have any schools here. They ended up closer to the center of the city the closer to the center the richer and nicer everything was which seemed hard as the lowest section of the city was the same as their own town. Eventually they made it the Lizer family's house as the hotels didn't have enough room for all the students, their parents, and still visiting tourists. So Arthur and Sandra decided to put their friends up for the next few days at their home they ended up in the innermost circle of the city right near where the Council meets.

Kage: "How close are we going to get to the middle?!"
Fenris: "We should be happy to have a place to stay in the first place."
Ian: "Why would they give us one night then tell us to bug off?"
Arthur: "Someone probably paid more money to take your room."
Doni: "How lame."
Sandra: "Yeah it happens."
Lila: "I'm sure it doesn't happen to you."
Sandra: "Ah well you know."
Luna: "Let's not."
Arthur: "Yes besides we are here."

A massive mansion was laid out before the group with a gate leading into the house Arthur stepped forward and raised his hand to press the intercom button. Before he pushed it the door was unlocked and the gate opened Arthur sighed and placed his hand into his pocket. He made a follow me motion and walked through the gate once they got to the doors of the mansion they opened up. A number of maids and butlers lined both sides of the room greeting the group as they entered the doors they approached an older looking male who's butler uniform was a bit more  sophisticated then the others.

Butler: "Welcome home master Arthur misses Sandra."
Arthur: "It's great to see you again Alzed."
Alzed: "And these must be the friends you were talking about greetings I am the head butler of the Lizer estate you may call me Alzed."
Fenris: "Uh nice meeting you."
Kage: "This place is massive."
Alzed: "Yes the Lizer family has always been a strong family."
Doni: "So it would seem."
Lila: "Is it like really okay for us to stay here?"
Arthur: "For the last time yes we already cleared this with mom and dad so-."
Ace: "So stop talking like you aren't welcomed and come on in already!"
Nora: "My dear you know Arthur so well."
Sandra: "Mom?! Dad?!"
Arthur: "Aren't you two supposed to be working?"
Ace: "We were given a day off after all our kids and their friends are visiting how can the masters of the house not be there to greet them?"
Lana: "T-this is getting out of hand."
Luna: "Ah well it's always like this with them."
Kage: "Come on it's not everyday you get a chance like this!"
Lana: "Most people want to avoid chances like this."
Ace: "Did you say something Lana?"
Lana: "O-of course not Master Ace!"
Nora: "Oh that's no good your a friend of Arthur and Sandra's you don't need to address us like we are in a Council meeting."
Arthur: "Ah wait a minute! You just want to do your dumb tests with our friends don't you?!"
Fenris: "What."
Sandra: "I FORGOT!"
Doni: "The good feeling I had is gone."
Ace: "Oh come on Arthur what are you talking about?"
Nora: "We don't do some weird tests on people who claim to be your friends."
Lila: "Um Sandra what's going on?"
Alzen: "Oh dear."
