Chapter 3 A Beast of A Problem

Speaking: "Hello."
Thoughts: 'hello.'
Yelling: "HELLO."
Special move: "Blast."

Third person POV

At the end of the school day Arthur was packing up his stuff when he started to walk out he noticed some students with different things staying at the school he walked up to onw of the people staying.

Arthur: "Why are you all not going home? The bell rang didn't it?"
Student: "You don't know? Well we have clubs and sports that people stay after to do and have fun didn't you have clubs at your old school?"
Arthur: "If I did I wouldn't have needed to ask you about it but thank you for answering my question."

With that Arthur walked away wondering what Doni, Ian, and Fenris did he saw Sandra and walked up to her.

Arthur: "Hey sis do you know of which club Doni, Ian, and Fenris attend."
Sandra: "Well theirs isn't really a club per say but they are apart of the assault squad a team of the strongest students in the school that help keep the town safe from Beasts why did you want to know?"
Arthur: "I saw students staying in school when I asked them why they would stay after the bell rang they told me about clubs since those three always had something to do for an hour or so after school I assumed that was the reason."
Sandra: "Wait your school didn't have clubs that place really is horrible come on I'll take you to the teams room there was talk about inviting you to join anyways."

Taking his hand Sandra takes Arthur with her to the teams room as they arrive they see the captain of the team and also the gym teacher of the school Steven pacing around the room Fenris was in a corner looking out a window while the other members of the team were just talking. Hearing the door open Steven stopped his pacing and looked at the door and was about to yell but he saw Arthur who waved and said yo.

Steven: "Oh Arthur hello welcome to the Assault Teams room are you here to join?"
???: "We don't need him but I guess we could take him."

Everyone looked to see Kage was the one who had spoken with Doni right next to him drinking from a can of soda.

Steven: "Maybe if you showed up on time every day I wouldn't have to try and get more reliable members!"
Kage: "HEY the hero always shows up late."
Doni: "That's how people die Kage."
Arthur: "You know I once heard somewhere that if someone has to hurry to the battle when his enemy is waiting he would arrive exhausted. This would make him a target."
Kage: "That's why you don't rush all the time."
Fenris: "Who cares this request sounded urgent we don't have time to argue about this."
Steven: "He's right signs of Beasts have appeared near the mall we are going to investigate if it's a problem we can deal with we deal with it if it's not however?"
Team: "We fall back and call for help."
Steven: "Good let's get ready to move out Arthur I would take you along but I have no idea besides that one time with the wolf of how you would react to Beasts so I don't know."
Arthur: "Ha you mean the dogie right? It's alright teach you don't have a cause of concern with me I've faced a mythical beast before I'll be fine."
Kage: "Bull crap you faced the strongest type of Beast before no way no how."
Sandra: "But I kinda have proof he did."
Fenris: "Really I want to sew."

Sandra took out her phone and showed the group his fight against an Ancient Dragon he was of course not alone but he did fight the thing but Doni noticed something about the video.

Doni: "Hey your not wearing your headphones in this video."
Arthur: "And why is that a problem?"
Kage: "It's just every time we've seen you fight so far it's been with your headphones on in fact all we ever see of you is with your headphones on do you ever take those off?"
Arthur: "Of course I do before the shower and when I go to bed come on guys we have a mall to investigate."
Sandra: "I'll meet you at home then."
