Chapter 12 Back in the Saddle

Third Person POV

A few short days after the battle against Lemma it was a normal day as normal as you can get in a world of superpowers at the very least while also having monsters inhabit the same world. Arthur was walking with Sandra and Luna to school they ran into Kage and Doni along the way and the two joined them they talked for a bit until they ran across Ian and Fenris. The two joined the group and they continued on until they arrived at the school everyone in the school looked at them and of course they talked about the small group.

Rando 1: "Dude it's them!"
Rando 2: "Yeah what do you want to do about it? Just fangirl over them?"
Rando girl: "Ha he got you man."
Rando 1: "Oh shut up

The group laughed at the interaction and went to their classes after a few hours it was lunch time and the group met back up to have lunch everything was going well until an alarm sounded throughout the town. The group sighs and Sandra waves the rest away as they went to deal with the Beast threat that was attacking the town Arthur arrived first due to his bull crap and saw the Beast that was attacking the town. It was a single Beast of the Legendary class but Arthur felt something was off with it he couldn't place his finger on it then two blue spectral dragons slammed into the Beast. This cleared the darkness near it allowing Arthur to get a look at the Beast it was a hominoid monster it is a werewolf mixed with a dragon and it was big about 20 meters tall.

Arthur: "That Beast it isn't natural."
Fenris: "What?"
Ian: "Are any Beast's natural?"
Arthur: "Beast's became what they are the same way we gained our powers but they are always one kind of monster. This one is some kind of a hybrid it's strange."
Kage: "It's attacking!"

The werewolf dragon breathed fire at the group but a quick Walls of Jericho from Arthur put up a glowing green wall of magic circles blocked the fire and the group went on the attack Ian appeared next to the hybrid and kicked it in the face. Fenris took his duel blades and slashed the hybrids legs it fell down to it's knees Kage transformed into a monster of his own he became a dragon himself one named Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon. A Spiral Sky Strike from Kage knocked it down then Arthur decided to show another one of his familiars Seventh Familiar Kiffa-Ater the 100 meter demonic sword appeared in the sky. Arthur sent the blade down it landed right into the heart of the Beast causing the ground under it to crack for several blocks Fenris looked at the sword.

Fenris: "I want it."
Arthur: "What no you can't even wield it!"
Fenris: "Yeah but I want it."
Arthur: "Ok but I said no."
Fenris: "Then I'll just take it."
Arthur: "Dude that thing is an intelligent weapon it's basically alive."
Fenris: "And what's that supposed to mean?"
Kage: "Will you two stop that?"
Ian: "The Beast something is happening to it."
Arthur: "Oh great."

A black cloud surrounded the Beast Kiffa-Ater vanished as the cloud shrunk and separated into two different clouds and vanished leaving behind two people one had more hair then a normal person and having his nails sharpened to claws. The other a female had dragon wings and scales on her arms and legs she was the one to open her eyes first they were slit like a reptiles she jumped up and stared right at Arthur. She glared for a moment before seemingly realizing who he was as the guy next to her also got up looking around confused.

Dragon girl: "Noren look it's the King!"
Noren: "The heck you talking about Lily... Holy crap your right wait how did we get here?"
Lily: "Wait where are we?"
Arthur: "Your in the town of Elas are you two okay?"
Lily: "Yeah I'm fine just feel like I can't remember the past few days."
Noren: "Yes what is today?"
Arthur: "It's June 1st."
Lily: "Uh so I really can't remember the past few days."
Noren: "Well at least we accomplished your goal?"
Lily: "What happened here?"
Kage: "What happened? You two showed up in some fused Beast looking creture and attacked the town! Though the ground being cracked is Arthur's fault."
Arthur: "Hey! More importantly are you two sure your okay? I mean I sent a 100 meter long sword into your chest? Chests?"
Lily: "Ah that's why my chest feels sore eh wouldn't be the first time someone tired to stab me with a sword."
Fenris: "I think I know what your talking about."
Arthur: "Well how about we go to a nearby café or something and talk over things in a not destroyed area that I'm repairing anyways."
