Chapter 10 The Trap

Yelling: "AAAAHHHH."
Action during speech: *Push.*
Special move: "Blast."

Third Person POV

It had been a few weeks after the end of the Tournament Arthur and the others that were in the Tournament were hounded about it for a while but the effect of the Tournament had died down and everything was back to normal. At the end of the day the group meet up at the Assault Team's room they were chilling at the moment as Steve wasn't there yet and Luna had enrolled into the school also joining the Assault Team.

Arthur: "This is strange."
Fenris: "Yeah Kage is here but Steven isn't."
Kage: "Hey I know I'm late sometimes."
Doni: "All the time."
Kage: "I have good reason for it ok?!"
Luna: "Are you really always late?"
Ian: "Sure you do anyways what are we supposed to do."

Before anyone could say anything Lewis the guy who was watching the news called the team over everyone's eyes turned to the tv on the news the mall was under attack by what seemed like a group of four people. Some of the powers being used were familiar to Arthur, Kage, Doni, Fenris, and Ian Steve slammed the door opened and yelled we are moving out. The team ran out of the room and started for the mall it took them a minute to get there and by that time this small group was waiting for them. Some stores had lava flowing out of them others were covered in ice weapons and the rest were blasted apart without burn marks of an explosions Arthur approached them first.

Arthur: "Would you look at this you don't seem to take a loss to well."
Lemma: "It's about time my target showed up."
Luna: "Target?"
Lemma: "Damn I'm getting to impatient I almost gave away to much. We are just here today to let you know we exist and that we are coming for you."
Axle: "The Tournament was just the beginning."
Leon: "You will see out true power soon enough."
Brian: "Were going to obliterate everyone that stands in our way."
Fenris: "There's quite a few people here you'll need to be more specific."
Ian: "You should be more careful of your words we kicked your butt before and we'll do it again."
Arthur: "I don't care who your target is I won't let you hurt anyone parish! FIREBOLT!"

Arthur with his hand raised sent a firebolt out at the group a puff of smoke appeared when the attack hit once the smoke cleared however nothing was there.

Lewis: "Damn looks like you obliterated them!"
Fenris: "Not likely."
Lewis: "Huh?!"
Arthur: "There are more then four of them who knows how many we are facing."
Steve: "So this is a bigger problem then original thought huh?"
Ian: "From the sound of it yeah."
Steve: "This is what the second group that had come for you Arthur I think we need more protection here. You are good but."
Arthur: "No I get it I don't have the experience to protect this town by myself, but I think your forgetting the Assault Team even before I joined are a powerful group. You guys can handle many things more then you know."
Fenris: "I feel kinda bad your writing us off here Steve come on weather it be other people or Beast's the Assault Team's got this."
Kage: "Your unusually teamy today but yeah come on teach we've done our fair share of the work."
Steve: "Yeah yeah I get it chill it just worries me these guys came here after Arthur unless they are stupid they came here with a means of doing so."
Luna: "That's not necessarily true anyone could tell Arthur cares for his friends and family if they were to get their hands on someone like that."
Ian: "They could try and force Arthur to do things."
Arthur: "People have tried before and it's never worked though it's not like anyone would have known that."
Steve: "I'm calling a meeting we have an idea of what they would try and go after it's the Assault Teams job to make sure this town is safe. So we are going to help Arthur out here."
Arthur: "What do you have in mind?"

It was the morning of the next day and to say Arthur and Sandra's grandmother was pissed was an understatement.

Grandma Lizer: "So what you mean to tell me is some jerks attacked the mall may be coming after anything they could use to control you?"
Arthur: "Yes."
Grandma Lizer: "And the plan is to have escorts for everyone close to you?"
Arthur: "Yes."
Grandma Lizer: "No! Absolutely not!"
Arthur: "But Grandma-."
Grandma Lizer: "No buts the only one who needs to watch over Sandra is you Arthur and Luna can defend herself quite well."
Sandra: "Grandma it's only for a few days Arthur can't be everywhere I don't want to ever fight and Arthur can't protect me if he goes after the bad guys."
Grandma Lizer: "If I see someone outside of my home trying to watch over my home I'm hitting them."
Luna: "Don't worry we made it very clear that you don't need the protection."
Grandma Lizer: "I hope so. Well get going kids I know there isn't school today and that you plan to 'hang' out with your friends so go. Make sure to bring these two back without any scratches boy."
Arthur: "Yes mam."
