Chapter 14 Another Foolish Charge

Specking: "Hello."
Thought: 'Hello.'
Yelling: "AAAAHHHH."
Action during speech: *Push.*
Special move: "Blast."

Third Person POV

It had been a day since Ian had charged the Beast Tamer's fortress alone Fenris knew what he did but he didn't get a chance to stop Ian so he decided it was his turn to go in. Fenris knew better then to go in alone however he decided to take Doni with him how Fenris convinced him is unknown. The two entered the forest following the tracks left by Ian this eventually led them to a point where the tracks vanished for seemingly no reason.

Doni: "The tracks have stopped."
Fenris: "Yes I can see that. Must be some kind of barrier that prevents entry that Ian just ran through knowing him."
Doni: "So how are we supposed to get through?"
Fenris: "Can you teleport beyond the barrier I think that's how Arthur did it."
Doni: "I'll try."

Kora watched the two from on high as they had approached her fortress she knew these new invaders were more comrades of Arthur and Ian and she was getting annoyed with them. They just kept coming after all and how was she supposed to replace her numbers when they get gunned down everyday? She sighed as she beckoned something closer to her with her hand a Beast in the appearance of a human with feathers going up her legs and animal ears on top of her head.

Kora: "Raijin how do you like your new body?"
Raijin: "I'm confident I will be able to serve you well with it master."
Kora: "Good you see those two? I want you to engage them I would like to see your combat ability I have no use for a scout who can't defend themselves should the time call for it."
Raijin: "As you wish master."

The Beast girl bows and walks away from Kora going to the front of the fortress while the two are still trying to figure out a way through the barrier. Another figure appears near Kora she already knew which one of her Beasts it was and she had a question for it.

Kora: "General when we talked before you told me that only the higher class of Legendary and up of Beasts can talk. So why can she an Epic class talk?"
General: "A good question my master. She must be a specials case due to her looking mostly like a human.. Beast Girls a type of Beast that hasn't been seen in a very long time you know."
Kora: "Yes I did some research after she appeared a crusade lead by females to eradicated all known populations of the Beast Girls.
General: "That is the story jealousy can really send you females on another level doesn't it?"
Kora: "Watch your words with me General."
General: "Of course my master."

Fenris and Doni finally managed to get through the barrier to which they had figured out it wasn't really a barrier and more of just an illusion that they could have walked through at any time. They looked at the massive dark fortress Fenris drew his two short swords and went first Doni following close behind him as they heard the growl of Beasts. They went through the still unrepaired gate to all of the Beasts bowing before a throne high above Kora on the throne watching the two come in. After they entered the gate shoot up trapping them inside the fortress it's disrepair being faked Doni and Fenris prepared to fight as Kora called down to them.

Kora: "More allies of Arthur I assume?"
Fenris: "Maybe I assume your the Beast Tamer?"
Doni: "This was a terrible idea."
Kora: "I am the Beast Tamer is this the last of you? I'm getting tired of you all coming everyday."
Fenris: "We will be the last ones here because we are gonna destroy you!"
Kora: "I'm sure. Raijin! Take care of them."

The Beast Girl steps forward lighting traveling around her body her harms crossed with a look of superiority over the two. Fenris got into a stance with his duel blades while Doni jumped back and got ready to support. Raijin appeared in front of Fenris and swung her claw at him Fenris raised his sword and blocked the claw and kicked Raijin. She flew back a bit and landed gracefully on the ground then Fenris with Doni's support appeared in front of Raijin he swung both of his swords down at her. She blocked with both of her hands and threw a kick at Fenris her kick hit empty air as Doni used his teleporting to move Fenris to her side Fenris still had the power behind his strike going. Fenris slashed Raijin's arm causing small cuts to appear on her arm she kicked Fenris' blades down and with the same leg kicked him in the gut before he could react.

Fenris spun landing on his feet then he charged again at Raijin taking down a few of the other Beasts that were in his way Doni has also been spending his time dodging the other Beasts. Fenris clashed his blade to Raijin's claw once more they broke the clash and kept hitting each other both getting hits in. Doni was still frantically dodging the scores of Beasts attacking him he went on top of the walls just to avoid most of the Beasts a few flying Beasts came to try and get him off the walls. Fenris threw a few throwing knifes at them sending the Beasts hurdling towards the ground Fenris and Raijin's battle kept heating up as Fenris was starting to struggle. The lighting attacks from Raijin were wearing him down and she was faster then him and with him also making sure Doni was taken out Fenris was starting to fall behind. Time seemed to slow down for Fenris he looked around as they were still surrounded by Beasts he looked back at Doni who was getting tired. One of the lion Beasts along with a panther one swung their claws at Doni Fenris leaned back dodging Raijin's claw aimed at his neck and threw his two blades at the Beasts. Each one flew and stuck themselves through an eye of each Beast causing them to crash into each other and miss Doni Fenris then kicked Raijin. Fenris stood up straight and reached his hand behind him and grabbed the handle of his main sword and he drew the blade.

Fenris held his sword with both of his hands and crouched down Raijin did the same and both jumped at each other clashing blade to claw. Faster then Raijin could have ever guessed for Fenris to go he cut her many times he appeared on the other side of her as she fell to the ground. Many wound over her body her face went from confused to contorting in pain she turned and saw Fenris getting closer to her she became fearful as he was getting closer. She tried to crawl from the swordsmen as he got closer and while she did move a little Fenris still moved faster. But before Fenris could strike the finishing blow General appeared between the two stopping Fenris' advance. As soon as he saw the Mythical class Beast appear he jumped several feet back an innate fear taking hold it took everything Fenris had to not run away from General. Doni on the other hand couldn't stop himself from running the presence of the Mythical Beast something hit the back of his head knocking him out. Now it was just Fenris alone to face against General Fenris' entire body was shaking at the mere thought of fighting General. Fenris punched himself to stop his shaking and charged towards General he jumped up and swung his blade down on the Beast. General held up his hand and caught the blade he then threw Fenris to the side.

General: "Hmm interesting your stronger then most. Or is it you have something else inside of you that let's you fight?"
Fenris: "What are you talking about?"
General: "Nothing you need to concern yourself with I assure you."

A dark cloud surrounded Fenris stopping his movement Kora sighed it was going to be a pain to help Raijin recover and but now she had two more servants. She figured she would be quite pleased with these ones General had already moved them to the cells she entered Fenris' cell first. Darkness flooded out of the cells as she was exiting the cell Fenris could be heard screaming from inside she did the same to Doni who was still passed out from before. Kora then returned to her throne room and sat on her throne she called General in and started to plan their next move.
