. . .

After I joined the Ducks I became one of their Duck family members. I hung out with them all the time. Before and after school, on the rink and off the rink. They were my only friends, but I wouldn't want it any other way.

I became more and more comfortable to skate on the ice and to push my limits, but not to much. We skate to and from school on our roller blades to keep up our skating skills. I got faster and faster then became the fastest one on our team. Also we would play some street hockey sometimes.

I also got closer personally to some of my teammates individually. I got a really close to Connie, and eventually became bestfriends. She was one of the only girls besides me and Tammy Duncan. She was dating one of the guys, Guy Germaine. We also had lots of sleepovers and hung out at the Mall of America. Sometimes we would hang with Guy too, but that gave me more time to tease him.

Me and Charlie got close too while we were on the ice. We also had a lot of classes together at school. Me, him, and Adam hang out at school and at Adam's house since he lives across from me. We also got in trouble a lot, and that's how we became the "Trouble Trio". I know what a dumb name, Connie and Guy came up with it. Me, Charlie, and Adam pulled really great pranks on the coach and the team.

We were one of the best teams and also won against the Hawks in the final game to win Pee Wee's. In the middle of a game in one of the players hit my left ankle, the ankle that broke before, with their stick. I couldn't play for two months. Which meant I couldn't play for out last two games and didn't play against the Hawks in the last round.

Then Coach Bombay took a job in play in the minors. We all waved to him while he got on the bus and left. Before he left he gave me a piece of advise. He said something about just going for it if you have a good feeling about it, because if I didn't that would have been a mistake. Or something like that, I didn't remember the exact words. All that matters is that I got the message.

I promised to myself I won't stop playing again because of my foot. I also said I wouldn't stop hanging out with the crew. When my dad found out that we won he got me a charm bracelet. The charms each resemble something that happened in my life. There's a wing and a V for the Ducks, the Utah state for well Utah, and a J for my mother Jordan. There were more charms like a flower that represents my allergies so I wouldn't for get that I was allergic to some pink flowers. Which I thought was funny. The most important one is the random circle to me, because my dad said that it can represent anything. So I put a bunch of meanings into that one little charm.
