The Silent Treatment

I was really sad when I heard Adam broke his wrist, but then that turned into anger when I realized he never went to Coach after the game when his wrist got hit by Iceland. I knew I had to see him and that I would have to skate with him at practice. At least I didn't have to play with him for a while.

My way of him lying to me is giving him the silent treatment. I know it sounds like we I'm six years old or something, but that's how I have dealt with Adam for years. It always works, we think about it and one of us apologies. If I say sorry I was probably angry and unreasonable. When he apologies he usually just comes up to me with a speech how he was wrong. We both have to bring something to each other when we apologies. It is something always with food and we usually eat it together and then catch up.

We are both pretty stubborn people and the team knows that. Sometimes when I'm on the silent treatment I don't even talk to most of the team or I'll break and talk to Adam. Me and Adam can go a pretty long time being mad at each other too. The moment I heard that Adam was hurt my mouth was dropped open. Connie looked at me because she knew about that promise and knew what was coming.

"Oh no here it begins." Connie resting her head on the wall behind her.

I give her a look with no emotion and hear the team's 'Oh No's and 'Not Again's, except for the newbies. I really need to get a new nickname for them because they aren't really new anymore.

"You can't be serious AJ, why is she mad at Adam now?" Averman says looking at me then Connie.

"Adam promised her that he would check out his hand a while ago, but clearly he didn't."

"Ok, so....what is going on?" Kenny says looking at all of us.

"Ok we need to catch these guys on AJ's dramatic stuff." Guy says looking at me. "No offence. We don't have time to do everyone's so just AJ for now."

"Ok ready to consume a whole lot of information?" Fulton says looking at the, for now, 'newbies'.

"Ok just do it." Julie says with a smile.

"First AJ won't go to bed without having a hoodie or jacket near her just incase of  an 'emergency' happens." Charlie said giving me a look.

"Oh I got one!" Goldberg says raising his hand. "If were all walking together and she gets tired of walking, she will jump on one of our backs to give her a piggy back ride.

"Another thing she does that you need to be aware of." Averman says pointing his finger out. "She gets really up set if some eat her food."

"She gets really happy if you give her food though." Connie points out.

Fulton then looks at Connie then me. "Yeah but gets really really pissed if you hurt each other or get in fights, but doesn't really care if she gets hurt."

"Speaking of fights, she has this fighting instinct." Guy says pausing and looking at everyone.

"Beast Mode." They all say in unison.

"What's 'Beast Mode' for her?" Dean says resting back.

"Well it is really useful in hockey." Averman says.
