—— Hey y'all! I have temporarily risen from the dead to state a few things that I felt was important to let my readers know! I decided to put it here since this is my most popular book after all.
First of all, I'd like to thank you all for 120k+ reads! I was never expecting for my book to do this well, and because of this, I gained many readers who enjoyed my writing! I am continuously appreciating every vote, comment, and read that I get in my books!
Secondly, I'd like to clear up some controversy about my use of some Japanese words in my book. I know what some of you mean when you said it was cringy when authors use random Japanese words in an all English book, but I was just trying to put it in as either a joke, or add cultural element to the story. I apologize if I've offended anyone with it, and I'll improve my writing in my future pieces.
Another thing I'd like to point out is this:

I decided to crop out the user and the cover so I'm not exposing the person, since I don't feel the right to go after them. But this is NOT ok. I get that Miya is a fictional character, and that he's not real, and people like to imagine him aged up. It's okay to imagine an AU where Miya was older, and the reader has romantic feelings for him, but this is a different story.
I know a lot of other fandoms do this (ex. TPN, HxH) and the situation had gotten out of hand, but I thought the sk8 fandom was safe from stuff like this. I'm mildly uncomfortable with people making lemons (or sexualizing at all) of minors, especially when the canon character is 15 or under. (Please note I'm speaking as a minor as well-)
Ending on a lighter note, I decided that I would make a sequel to Neon Nights ! after all, due to the popularity and my loyal readers (I love y'all <3). However I'm not going to be starting it until the end of my hiatus, which is around mid-June. I have to focus on school right now, and my mental health had been decreasing lately, so I'd like to shift all my attention to my classes.
I'd still occasionally update my Reki x reader book, but I'm still feeling unmotivated currently. I hope you guys understand as my readers!
