We soon make it to the sewer entrance. Ada looks over at Leon and I "After you" She says, crossing her arms. "Gee thanks" Leon responded before he walks into the sewer, I followed behind him. I scoff "It smells fucking awful.." I grumbled. We walked along the sewer tunnel, Ada explaining everything to us. Umbrella has control of everything in this city, even the sewers apparently and Annette Birkin was the one responsible for unleashing the virus. All of a sudden the place shakes, I gripped onto the concrete wall "What the hell" I mutter. "Jesus! That an Earthquake?!" Leon quickly says, wrapping an arm around my waist and bringing me closer to him. He's so damn overprotective. "I surely hope so, god only knows what's down here" Ada responded. How the hell is she so calm?!
I stayed close to Leon as we walk through a small doorway, we see something huge move by the gate and my eyes widen. I could hear it growl and crash through what I hoped was trash and debris "Oh what the fuck!" I grip onto Leon's arm "Stay sharp!" I hear Ada say to us. I huff at her "I got you" Leon softly says to me and I glance up at him "I'm fine okay" I tell him and then walk through another doorway. We walk through the gate and continued along. Walking through the tunnel the monster must've moved itself again and hit the walls as another loud thud and a vibrate happened "Again?!" Leon said with a frown. "It's not too late to turn back Leon" Ada said and looks at me "And Y/N. You look scared out of your mind" Can she shut up?! I glare at her. "No thanks, you're stuck with us until the end" Leon told her with a small amused smile.
Soon we reached the end of the walk way, that led down into the gross river of sewage water. I think I might actually turn back, fuck this. And the smell, god it's awful. Leon jumps down into the sewer water and groans in disgust and looks up at us "Are you sure this is the right way?" He asks. Ada leans down at the end of the walkway "Unfortunately" We hear a loud bang and all of us look towards the direction. Leon holds up his hand to us "Wait here" He told us, investigating on what it is. Though I'm sure I had a good idea of what did that "Leon..." I whisper. More loud thuds happen and then a huge mutated looking alligator pops up out of the water, roaring loudly and tries to take a bite of Leon.
"Leon, get out of there!" Ada yelled down to him. I quickly get up "Leon run!" I yell at him. He ran as fast as he could, though the waist deep water was no help. Both Ada and I run along the walkways. I was scared of losing Leon, we've come too far together. I need him.
As we ran along we hear a loud explosion and I gasp softly before speeding up. Soon I reach the end and grab onto the railing and look down. The alligator was dead, Leon was okay. I sighed in relief "Jesus Christ.." I softly whispered to myself.
"Leon up here" Ada said as she lowered the ladder down for him to climb. "What the hell was-" He started to say but Ada cut him off "Just get up here!". I help Leon up the ladder and then hug tightly onto him. I frown and pull away after a bit and punch his shoulder gently "Don't do that again! Idiot.. You could've been killed" I tell him in a worried and annoyed tone. I pause "And you smell like shit..." I grumble.
Leon rubs his shoulder where I punched him and laughs lightly at me "That worried about me huh? I'm tougher then you think tough girl" He then snorts "Yeah, wasn't like I was just running through sewage water" He sarcastically replied. I smile a little at him in amusement "Hey lovebirds, let's get going hm?" Ada said before heading off down the corridor.
Leon frowns and follows after her "You said the virus turned people into monsters! Not reptiles!" He scoffed. "Fair point, I'm just impressed you made it in one piece". We walk into an elevator and Ada hits a button so the elevator goes up.
Once we were up Leon opens up the door, aiming his gun as we walked in "Definitely William's handiwork" A feminine voice says. He frowns and aims the gun at her, keeping me behind him "Identify yourself" He said. Ada aims her gun at the woman "Annette Birkin" She said with a glare. "She's who we're looking for?" Leon asks Ada. "There isn't much time, need to dispose of it" Annette said, standing up by a corpse on the ground. "We're here for the G Virus" Ada says, walking closer to her. Annette scoffs at her "That's not gonna happen"
"I'm warning you Doctor" Ada moved a little closer to her. "Oh yeah?" Annette says and grabs out a match and lights the body on fire before running off around a corner. "Stop!" Ada yells before running after her. Annette started shooting at Ada to try and stop her "ADA!" Leon yells and then jumps in front of Ada to protect her, getting shot himself "LEON!" I yell, running over and kneeling down beside him. Ada kept shooting at Annette "You'll never get the G Virus!" Annette yells as the doors closed.
Leon moans in pain from the gunshot wound in his shoulder. Ada knelt down "Leon" She says. "Forget about me. Just go, stop her before she gets away" He says in a pained groan before he soon passes out. I run my fingers through his hair before I then grab out some bandages while Ada grabs out some first aid and helps me tend to Leon's injury. I ripped off his sleeve to get to it, throwing it aside. Once we were done I bandage him up and Ada slips off her coat and placed it gently down on Leon to keep him warm.
I could hear Ada talking to someone on her radio, I couldn't understand what they were talking about though. I was more focused on Leon, making sure he was comfortable and his wound wasn't worsening. "You stay here and look after him. I'm going after Annette" Ada says to me before she soon leaves. I didn't want to leave Leon alone, especially when he's unconscious, something could hurt him. I look down and then intertwine my fingers with his, holding his hand.
I stare at his sleeping face, admiring his facial features, I really admired his strength. He puts himself before others, he's a kind and caring guy. I use my other hand to gently caresses his cheek, he made a small noise and his head gently moved to rest on my shoulder.

I stayed awake for a while, Ada has been gone for a while too. I hope she's alright, despite what I believe I hope she isn't hurt or worse. I hear Leon groan and I look over at him, he was waking up. He looks up and over at me and his injured shoulder and frowns a little from the pain "Y/N..? You okay? Where's Ada" He asks.
I gently hug him, my arms wrapped around his neck "I'm fine I'm just happy you're okay you ass!" I smile and then pull away, helping him up from the ground and he rests Ada's coat on the railing "She went to find Annette. She's been gone a while though" I tell him.
Leon's nods his head "I see, and thanks, for helping me" He smiles at me and then runs his fingers through my hair. I stare up at him, resting my hands on his chest. I lean closer to his face, I was just about to touch his lips with my own when I hear a door burst open. We quickly look over and my eyes widen.
"Austin?! The hell are you doing here?!" I say in disbelief.
(Hnnnng YALL can imagine Austin as however you want. Usually making characters I just use a fucking famous person LMAO. The tea is boiling besties)
