The Incident in Raccoon City

Chapter 7

I couldn't believe my fucking eyes, Austin, how the hell did he even find me down here?!

Austin stared back at me "I was going to say I am damn glad to see you, but I don't think you are. Considering what I just walked into" He glares darkly at Leon, which Leon returned. I huff at him "Of course I am... I thought you were dead! I was worried something happened to you!" I glance at Leon and look back at Austin, rubbing my arm, guilt written very clear on my face. "I wasn't expecting you... to... be here..." I mumble. Austin scoffs "You think that little of me Y/N? I'm tough as hell you know that. I knew you would be around here, I came looking for you! I went through hell trying to find you! And I find you with this cop?! Have you really sunk that low Y/N?! A cop of all people?!" He yells.

I stare at him, not able to say a word. I hear Leon huff and he walks over "Quit yelling you don't know what's around here" He says in an annoyed tone. Austin glares angrily at Leon "Shut your damn mouth pig" He growls. I frown at him "Quit it, Leon saved my life! When you weren't here! He's done so much for me, helped me out of the police station" I look at Leon "He's a good guy Austin" I say, my voice breaking a little. Austin rolls his eyes "Save if Y/N, I'm sure he only did it to get more then that kiss you were about to give him" He groans and runs his hand through his hair "Fuckin hell Y/N... I care about you too, I came for you didn't I?! Now come on! I'm getting out of here, with you" He says in a stern tone.

Leon quickly stood in front of me "I don't know what cops you've met, but I'm not like that. It's my damn job to protect other survivors" He sighs heavily. Austin growls "Shut your fucking mouth!" He yells, pulling out his gun and aiming it at Leon. "Y/N, get over here now" He warns.

I whimper and look up at Leon, my bottom lip quivering "Look I- I appreciate everything you've done for me Leon, despite my attitude and such. I'll never forget what you did for me" I gently caress his cheek before I walk over to Austin "Now lower that fucking gun, maybe you should be grateful I'm alive and not someone's fucking dinner" I hiss, glaring at him.

Austin stares at me before he puts his gun away and looks at Leon "If you ever try to touch her again, I'll kill you, Leon. Besides, I'm sure you have other women to see, and not one whose already taken" He spits before grabbing my wrist and he drags me along, leaving Leon alone.

I wanted to stay with Leon and help him find Ada. "I met someone who can help us out of here Y/N, his name is Albert Wesker. He works for Umbrella" Austin tells me "He has a helicopter, we are getting the hell out of here" He frowns at me "But after that, you're on your own. We can drop you off outside the city, I don't want to see you again Y/N. You've gotten damn soft, if I hadn't come along you two probably would've done more then kissing" He scrunches up a nose. I glare up at him "Fine by me" I mutter.

I chuckle "I can sense the jealously in you, we've been growing apart for ages, you always went out robbing places. Leaving me alone. Leon isn't just some cop, he's a hero, he didn't just protect me! He jumped in front of a bullet for our friend! Grow up Austin!" I angrily say to him. He groans and grabs me by the top, pulling me close "I did it for us to survive! You've fallen for that cop it's so obvious Y/N" He then let go of me "Now let's go! I'm not going to ask you again" He huffs and continued walking to the exit. I grunt a little when he let me go, I stared after him with an angry expression.

He was right though, I fell for a rookie cop. I shouldn't have but I did.

I followed after him, after a long while we soon made it out, Austin pulls out his radio and began to speak to who I assume might be this Wesker guy. I kept my jacket wrapped around me as the rain fell. I couldn't help but think about Leon and if he's okay. I missed him and his comfort, he made me feel safe. I thought Austin was the guy who was supposed to make me feel so safe and comfortable, but that's not the case.

Once Austin was done he looks at me "The helicopter will be here shortly" He said to me before going silent. I sigh quietly and look back towards the sewers, I really hope he's okay. I felt a tear roll down my cheek, I don't know if I'll ever see him again either.

Soon the helicopter arrives, landing down in front of us. A man steps out, wearing a leather coat and he had sunglasses and blonde hair. A chiseled sort of face. "Ah Wesker, finally" Austin started "Found her, about to make out with a fucking cop. We can just dump her outside the city, I don't fuckin care" He says, climbing into the helicopter. Wesker raises his eyebrow at both me and Austin "Looks like the type. (H/C) messy wet hair, a tank top and tight leggings" He then smirked "I know where to take her. Get in" He tells me. I then climb up into the chopper and Wesker pulled me down beside him, keeping me uncomfortably close to him "Take off! I don't wish to be around when that tyrant bastard shows up again"

Soon we were off. I stare down at Raccoon City, tears falling down my cheek. "We have to make this quick, I have business to attend still in this shit hole of a city" Wesker states, sounding very annoyed and bored. Austin never said a word to me, he ignored me, pretended I wasn't there.

As time passed we were just outside of the city when the helicopter landed. Wesker grabs me and threw me off the chopper and laughs "Don't think you're safe yet miss L/N! There's still monsters around. Good luck trying to survive on your own" He smirked at me. I landed on my back and stared at him and Austin, he grinned at me before the helicopter took off, heading back to the city. I groan and slowly get up, looking around, I could hear distant groans and roaring.

I was alone, I began to walk down the road, I luckily still had my gun. I kept my hand on it in case more zombies showed up, I knew what Leon would do. Be strong and tough. That's what I did, it's what I needed to do. I knew there was a hotel near the city too, it's quite a walk but it wasn't too far from the city.

I just hope I make it there with no trouble.
