When he's done explaining everything it's dark outside and it's begun to rain again.

I learn that most of what I know is correct.

They are alphas. He and his brothers share that position, which means they lead the pack.

He tells me he took that position when his mom and dad passed.

He informs me the woman I saw when I walked in was his aunt, and this was her house. She had come to visit since she didn't have any kids, and her husband had passed about a year ago.

He also informs me she was human like his mother.

Raiden was the youngest of the triplets.

Witches are real, and so are vampires.

He tells me vampires had gifts so it was possible I was part vampire.

He explains what he means by that but it gets lost in translation.

I wasn't a witch, as they had to do special spells to be able to see things and this had come naturally.

He offers to do a blood test but I wasn't really ready for that.

I don't know why, most people would want to know, but for some reason not knowing gave me peace.

I knew everything else, this was the one thing I couldn't control and I'd keep it that way thank you very much.

We end up talking until almost midnight.

I don't even realize the time until I get a call.

It takes me a moment to pinpoint what the buzzing was.

I pull my phone from my pocket and hold it to my ear.

"Hello?" I hear my brother sigh on the other end.

"Are you coming home? I drew another picture in class and I think you will like it." I feel my lips twitch.

"Just save it." I say. He sighs.

"Eww. You're with a boy!" He squeals.

I wince and look around the room.

"Go away." I snap. He giggles and hangs up.

I cringe and look at my phone.

I look around the room wondering if he was secretly watching.

"Was that your brother?" I turn toward Raiden and nod.

"I should go. He probably hasn't had dinner." Raiden stands with me, grabbing his keys.

"My sisters probably asleep I'll drive you home." He promises, glancing at the time on his watch.

He seemed hesitant, like he didn't want me to leave but he doesn't stop moving toward the door.

I follow after him, my legs moving in a slow gallop.

Geez he walked fast.

"Uhm-" I pause as we reach the car. He opens it, looking at me. I climb into the expensive looking car and try to think of how to phrase my question.

"Did you maybe want to-" I trail off and bite my lip.

He waits, his eyes on my lips.

I blush. "Hang out." I finish quickly, not wanting to be tempted to stay.

He blinks, focusing back on my face.

He shuts the car door, making me jump.

He gets in on his side and pulls away from the house swiftly.
