"What are you looking at?" Damon asks, rubbing my cheek.

I blink a few times, pulling away from Ethan's future.

"Nothing." I kiss the tip of his nose, and he frowns suspiciously.

"You're always like that, I wish I could read your mind." Raiden mumbles from the foot of the bed.

I shrug, absently tracing the pattern on the blanket.

I know what I had to do, but I didn't want to do it.

I had to lie and probably sneak behind their backs.

"Why are you frowning." Damon asks, pushing my lips up into a smile with his fingers.

"You ask a lot of questions." I scold, planning out my night in a way that would ensure success.

As of this morning Ethan's plans were official.

It hurt to see them, but I think I could find a way to stop them.

"You avoid a lot of them." He says retorts.

I felt bad, it would be hard being stuck with someone who never answered any of your questions.

But it was hard for normal people to understand how my gift worked.

Their not normal... a part of my mind reminds me.

"Just the future." I say, shrugging my shoulders.

They stay silent so I continue.

"You guys have nice cars." They both snort.

"That's not where I thought your mind would be at." Raiden mumbles, sounding sleepy.

I could tell all he wanted to do right now was rest.

I think being away made it hard for him to relax, which left little room for sleep.

I play with his hair, and I see his shoulders relax.

"You can have them, what's our is yours right?" Damon's words surprise me, and make my guilt about lying worse.

I know if I told them they'd want to be a part of my plan tho.

And if I told them what could go wrong they wouldn't let me go.

I wonder if they can tell how absent I am.

Raiden falls asleep after phasing, sleeping as a large brownish wolf.

It doesn't take long before Damon and I start kissing.

When we finally do calm down we begin talking, and I do let him in.

I share a few pieces of our future.

And some of my past.

And he shares some of his.

I ask about his girlfriends, which makes him roll his eyes.

Eventually he falls asleep to, just in time.

When I know he's sound asleep I go back to planning.

My plan was simple in my mind, but complicated to enforce in reality.

I knew Ethan could react badly to me interrupting his plan, but if I made it past the first ten minutes it was likely my plan would succeed.

I start with step one, my heart racing.

I pry out of Damon's arms, removing myself from the warm bed.

He mumbles something, his fingers stretching outward.

I take my hoodie off and set it on the bed.

I knew if my scent didn't remain they'd wake up before I had time to leave.

I quickly leave the room, setting a timer on my watch.

I had one hour.

I practically run down the stairs, wishing silently for more time.

When I reach the garage I don't allow time to gawk.

Was that a friggin tank? The fuck would they ever need with that?

I grab the first set of keys I find and run toward the car I knew the keys belonged to.

"Whats mine is yours!" I remind myself, jumping into the mustang.

I hit a button and the engine revs.

The large metal doors open, and I pull out.

I knew my way out of the woods by heart, so it takes little effort.

I map quest my destination and it doesn't take long before I'm driving at 90 down the highway.

When I arrive at the club I hand my keys to the nearest person.

"I don't park the cars-" The woman I had tossed the keys too says as I run up to her.

She was also part of my plan, though she was a total stranger.

She had long black hair, and like me, had darker Latina skin.

"I don't care. You can have it." Her eyes bug out of her head and she gapes at me.

"On one condition." She shakes her head, holding the keys out.

I don't make a move to take them.

This whole plan relied on her. She just didn't know it yet.

"Theirs an address written on a paper in the glove box, along with registration for the car. Go to the address and they'll put the car in your name."

She was still gaping.

"I just need your I.D." She starts to speak.

"This is crazy, I know. But right now someone that I love is in there about to make a mistake and I need to stop him."

"Look-"

"No. If you can't do this for me I'll find someone who will." That was impossible.

No one would let me if I didn't have an id.

And I didn't see anyone else who looked remotely like me.

I already looked to young.

And their was only so much a bouncer could do.

"Come on." I beg.

It takes a painfully long moment then she sighs, grabbing her wallet.

"Fine. If you steal my identity-"

"You'll have my car as payment." I say impatiently.

She looked doubtful but I run off toward the entrance to the club, pushing past the long line.

People yell but I reach the bouncer, hoping this would work.

"A friend of Ethan's." I hold up the I.D.

He leans down and stares at my I.D.

"Another one?" He scoffs doubtfully.

I don't let that effect me, but somewhere deep in my gut something stings with pain.

"Yep. It's important. About his brother." He looks surprised, pausing for a moment before he lets me past the complaining line.

I push through a crowd and move toward the vip stairs.

"You're not allowed up there- stop!"

This was pure faith.

He'd either send me away, or let me stay.

All of this depended on Ethan now, not the stranger from the parking lot, not the bouncer.

He was literally about to make a life changing decision, and right now I know he was not in a good headspace to make this kind of choice.

Next week, another chapter stay around and read if u want <3
