"To much. This is my fault. I'm so sorry!" I shout, pulling at my hair anxiously.

"Don't do the 'can't control the future bullshit.'" I snap when Raiden moves closer.

I feel bad when he steps back.

I sigh and shake my head.

"He's going to do his research. He's gonna go for my family." I try desperately to keep calm.

"We have room for them here." Ethan says.

"Yeah, my dad will love that. He would be thrilled to move in with my boyfriends. 'Yes plural dad, three'."

I could see it now.

He'd actually die, he'd probably just drop dead on the spot, anyone would.

"You don't have to tell him that," Ethan says calmly.

"Just say you're dating Raiden. We can act like friends-" Damon nearly gags on the word.

When I get over my panic we work out a plan.

It doesn't take long before I get a phone call from my family.

Cas had told dad like the little snitch he was.

And my father was not happy I wanted to uproot our life.

"Dad. A minute alone?" I ask, closing the bathroom door.

He sighs and I hear a door close on the other end.

"Remember our talk?" He stays silent, and that's enough of an answer.

"You couldn't help mom, but I'm telling you now that you can help Leo and Cas."

I wait, my fingers gripping the cold sink so tight I lose feeling.

It takes forever then he sighs.

"You're sure this is the only way? Who is this guy?" I purse my lips.

"It's not about who he is but how much he's willing to do to make sure no one gets hurt."

My dad snorts.

"Fine his names is Damon."

I knew Damon wouldn't have enough self-control to call me a friend. He literally gagged every time he said it and mimed vomiting.

"Damon. That's a stupid name."

"Your gonna challenge her?" Erik asks with awe.

"And bet against her?" He sounded so confused.

Leo shrugs, setting up the chessboard.

My dad and Damon were watching, sitting awkwardly as far away from each other as humanly possible.

My dad quickly figured out Damon would sit as far away from him as possible as a sign of respect, so my dad would always take the seat closest to me.

Much to my annoyance.

"Yeah, I know I'm going to win," Leo states simply, sending me an eye roll.

"This kid." Leo scoffs, pointing a thumb at Erik.

"Watch it, kid, I'm older than you."

Leo looks down at the chessboard and I wait while he goes through various moves.

Two whole days and my family had already started fitting in here.

Leo quickly figured out what was going on, not oblivious to the wolf visions.
