Prologue

This story starts after Caroline and Klaus's hook up in the woods.

This story does include Hope being daughter of Hayley and Klaus, and Elijah is there, but Rebekah not yet.

The story mainly takes place in New Orleans.

After, In the woods

Caroline's P.O.V

"That shouldn't have happened" I say with a guilty yet enchated look on my face.

"You kissed me" Klaus says with an insufferable, naughty look in his face.

"YEAH BECAUSE YOU" , before I could finish I broke down in laughter while I was puting my boots on.

Klaus smiled in a mocking kind of way. I finished getting dressed and I was going to leave when Klaus softly grabbed my hand and pulled me to him, he said "whenever your thinking of me you'll know you miss me and what you want, when that happens you know where to find me" he kisses my cheeck gently and as he left he yelled "open invitation".

"Wait" I said in a whisper.

"I need to know what Tyler did to you and Hayley in New Orleans" I say in a firm yet kind way.

"Love I"

But before he could finish I cut him off and say "Please" in a charming way, so he couldn't say no.

"He kidnaped Hayley and tried to kill our baby" he says in a considered way, one that I had never seen before, like he was sorry to tell me.

I stand in shock with tears in my eyes about to fall. "I am so sorry" I say while my eyes water like dams, "It's my fault, I should have forced him to stay".

"Is Hayley okay?" I bearly got to pronounce.

"She is fine and it's not your fault love, you couldn't have known what he was going to do" he says in the sweetest way imaginable while wiping my tears and holding me.

"Thank you" I whisper.

"Always" he softly says.

We froze like that for 15 minutes, when I felt better I sweetly stoped hugging him, thats when he said "You still care about Hayley, didn't she snap your neck or something".

I softly laughed and said "She could have done it a thousand times over and I wouldn't have cared, no one deserves what she went through, especially your baby".

"You are especial Caroline Forbes, don't you ever forget it" with that beautiful words he disappeared through the woods.

Does words left me with a smile in my face that I wished he hadn't seen.

I looked like a 13 year old crushing over a boy, I quickly snapped out of my trance and head to the Salvatore house, I was still a little numbed from my encounter in the woods, when I saw a familiar face sitting in the sofa.
