In Seoul

A worried Emperor stood in front of his room where his wife was screaming in pain. He could make out some words such as 'push!' 'Bit more your majesty!' from inside the room. Some of the emperor's trusted men stood near him consoling him and saying, ''don't be worried your majesty, the empress and the child will be alright.''. Suddenly a loud cry jolted the Emperor from his thoughts the door opened after sometime revealing a woman with a child in her arms who was crying, ''it's a boy your majesty!'', the nurse smiled and let the king hold the child and bowed going inside for the queen's aid . The emperor smiled watching the innocent child, ''congratulations your majesty!'', everyone congratulated the Emperor ''what are you going to name him your majesty?'', a fairly aged man asked . The emperor smiled before replying with a smile towards the future heir of the throne, ''Jimin... Park Jimin the future emperor of Korea...", Said the Emperor and placed a peck on the forehead of the child.

~5 Years later~

In Busan

The king smiled holding his child in his arms, ''Jungkook...Jeon Jungkook, my son..'', the king said placing a soft peck on the child's forehead. A nurse came outside with her head down taking away the king's attention from the child to the nurse. The nurse's head hung low as she shook her head, ''The queen is no more your majesty...'', the King's smile faltered as soon as those words left the nurse's mouth, ''W-what?'', the king stuttered in shock. Everyone who were standing there hung their head low after hearing the sorrowful news from the nurse. The king sighed sadly " I'll raise him well my queen" he whispered to himself.

~5 years later~

In Seoul

The palace was unusually busy today.
The maids ran here and there preparing a feast while the Emperor and the Empress were in their chamber. "Prince! Please wear this!", A maid gave a set of royal clothes to the 10-year-old Park Jimin making him tilt his head confused about the ramblings in the palace.

Jimin had chubby cheeks which made him look even more precious than usual, while tilting his head he spoke softly. "Why am i getting dressed?", Jimin pouted while putting on the attire handed to him by the maid.

"Sire, royal guests will be arriving here and you'll be also getting special archery training from your teacher.", The maid said politely bowing her head. "What's going to be so special about this archery class that i'm getting dressed?", Jimin said while getting his hair did by one of his caretakers. "Forgive me your highness, i'm afraid i don't know about it, but for a matter of fact i know it's mostly for the royal guests coming over..", said the maid as a duke walked in after asking the prince for permission.

"Your highness, would you like to know who'll be visiting our empire?", Said the duke with a bow which resulted the prince to let out a hum of approval. "It's the prince and the king from busan, your highness.", Jimin hummed again taking curiosity over this prince coming to visit, "Do you know anything about the prince coming here to visit?", Said the prince trying to make his face as calm and collected so none of his curiosity was shown.

"Sire i've only came to know that he's 5 years of age and his name is Jeon Jeongguk but he's know as Jeon Jungkook..", said the duke with a soft polite smile. "Thank you for letting me know Mr.Lee.", the prince said with a glint of curiosity in his words.

Right after a few minutes a maid rushed in with a bow of apology before she spoke, "The emperor has told us to let the prince know that the royal guests won't make it here today and will arrive tomorrow, also the archery classes for the prince are cancelled because his majesty would like to tour the town with him.", Jimin agreed shortly after and the maid left the prince's chambers.

The duke guided the prince over to where his father was and then left himself with a bow.

"Are you ready to go for a tour around the town my son?", Said the emperor as he smiled at the prince, "Yes, appa! Can we bring a flower crown for eomma from the market!!", Jimin said excited as he hoped in one place making the king agree with a soft chuckle.

There they went touring around the town Jimin waving his hand with a smile to all the people who looked at him, suddenly a weird thought came up in his mind.

"Appa?", Asked the young prince as the king looked at him, "Yes son?", The emperor smiled, "Why can't two girls or two boys marry eachother?", Asked the prince with wonder written all over their face.

The emperor sighed and smiled softly after while patting Jimin's head, "So curious, huh? Well, let's just because if two women or two men marry each other they wouldn't be able to have kids and it's kind of unacceptable to some nonsense people out there.", Jimin hummed with the response as he looked at his father again, "What if i marry a boy in the future appa?", Said the prince as his father chuckled and spoke calmly, "I'll accept whichever gender you marry till you love them, because it's not just about two genders anyway.", Said the emperor as he pecked Jimin's forehead.

~Time skip~

Back at the castle (night)

It was a long day Jimin and his father came back and dinner few hours back, mostly the whole castle expect of the guards were asleep while Jimin stood on the balcony in his chambers and stared off to nothingness while thinking about what things he did with his father on today's trip.

Suddenly he remembered the question he asked his father, 'Why can't two girls or two boys marry eachother?', Jimin also recalled himself saying what if he married the same gender as himself, he finally let go of the thoughts as he started thinking about other things.

The thoughts of the royal guests coming to visit tomorrow flooded up his mind, the more he thought about it the more he only wanted the stranger prince from busan he never met before to be here even though he was just the age of 5, "What am i thinking about..", Jimin sighed and held his head in hands before going back in his room to go to sleep for the night.

'We shall meet tomorrow Prince Jeon Jeongguk.', thought the prince to himself before drifting off to a peaceful slumber with a faint smile.
