~Time skip a few weeks~
It's been a few weeks from Koharu going back to her kingdom after getting engaged with Jungkook, when Jungkook saw Koharu leaving he exhaled a deep breath. The time Koharu was here went terrible for Jungkook. In the morning Jungkook wanted to see himself first in his mirror not his future wife he despises.
Apparently the guards standing beside the door of Jungkook's room let the princess in because she was a royal blood and most importantly Jungkook's fiancee.
The day they were engaged Jungkook wanted to end it all but he still had faith in Jimin, he still does. Jungkook felt giddy when ever he recalled the kiss he shared with Jimin, but his eyes trailed over to the engagement ring on his finger making his lips press to a tight line.
Now he was in his room painting. The engagement ring on his finger was long gone. Anyway he is alone no one is going to know that he took it off. He drew the first thing that came into his mind... Jimin. He glided the strokes of his brush gracefully across the canvas, clearly remembering every facial feature of the older by mind and heart.
He put down the brush as he admired the painting he made. Tears brimmed his eyes as he let out a sob, the sorrow of being away from his Jimin made his heart pang, his throat dry up and even his whole body give up. Jungkook never thought he would be so desparate to be with Jimin, but at the end he couldn't help it.
He leaned against the canvas and cried his heart out trying to be as quiet at possible, cries of him missing Jimin echoed through the room, he gripped onto his hair, he shouldn't have come back home, he should've stubbornly stayed with his beloved and had sent out a letter to his jerk of a father that he's with the one he loves, the king can fuck off.
He sat next to his painting and smiled with tears streaming down his cheeks and looked at all the features of his prince "My love, my one and only..." he whispered softly with a chuckles as tears streamed down his cheeks even faster.
Soon he heard a knock on his door. He quickly hid the painting he had made and wiped away his tears with a wet cloth to hide the puffiness before opening the door. And it was someone he didn't expect here to be. "Ms. Yang? What brings you to me chamber?", The prince asked with a smile and the lady just smiled back.
"May i have a talk with my prince i think you are the only person who will understand my situation..."
Said the woman as Jungkook nodded and let her in.
Jungkook's eyes had tears in his eyes again, he looked at Ms.Yang no Jihyo, "Im so sorry about that...", Jihyo's story made Jungkook's heart race in nervousness. "So those were the loud noises i heard outside earlier...", Jungkook trailed off.
Jihyo nodded, "They executed the only person i loved.. she was the only person i cared about after my parents died 4 years ago.. we have been together through all of these ups and downs, just for her to get.. executed? Because being lesbian is a SIN, IT'S DISGUSTING?! It's obnoxious?! What's so obnoxious and foul about loving the person you love..", Jihyo yelled her heart out and broke into tears sobbing profusely.
"She.. she left me just like that because i couldn't be with her..", Jihyo carried into her sleevee making the cloth wet with tears, while Jungkook tried to comfort her the best he could. "I'm so sorry about that noona im sure she's happy among the stars now.. she probably missed you too.", Jungkook let out a shaky breath while smiling softly.
Jihyo sniffled and wiped away her tears with a chuckle. "I am sorry for that Jungkook i got a little too emotional.", Jihyo smiled softly and Jungkook smiled back with a small bow which made Jihyo raise her eyebrows and Jungkook chuckle.
"wait a minute! Did you cry?" she asked softly noticing the puffy eyes. Jungkook quickly shook his head "No no no!" Jungkook replied way too quickly and who wouldn't be suspicious?. And on top of that the prince has been just engaged shouldn't he be happy?
"What happened Jungkook? Did something happen?" She saw how his eyes started to tear up again. Jungkook sniffled and wiped his tears away "I...I met Prince Jimin at the ball for the first time or so i thought. My father was lying to me all the time." He let out a bitter chuckle at the thought of his disgusting father. While growing up he was told that liking or loving someone as the same gender was disgusting and was a crime. But it was all wrong.
Loving specific genders doesnt matter as long as they both love each other honestly. He understood it after he saw the prince Jimin, he understood it the way his heart bloomed, his skin felt warm and his mind went fuzzy when they kissed for the first time, even now it makes his cheeks redden whenever he thinks about it.
"He.. he's my true love noona.. i don't want to marry Koharu.", Jungkook looked down which in result made Jihyo cup his face up, "Noona's sure koo will meet hia prince soon or should i say emperor?~", Jihyoo spoke in a teasing tone signalling them being together even when Jimin's an Emperor not a prince. The small tease itself made Jungkook's cheeks turn crimson as he giggles softly.
"Noona stop you're making me shy..", a few airy giggles left his lips as he looked at Jihyo with his signature bunny smile.
"But im serious Jungkook you'll meet your prince soon.. sooner than you think.", Jihyo said, hopeful with a smile. "But what about Koharu..", Jungkook murmured at which Jihyoo glared as him, "Jungkook.. do you like her?", Jihyo asked which make Jungkook shake his head rapidly. "Then don't care about what happens to her kookie, think about yourself.. how happy you will be after you meet your prince again.. think about that kook.. you should stress over strangers.", Jihyo spoke briefly.
"If you say so noona, i miss his even more now..", Jungkook sighed and his lips formed a pout, Jihyo face palmed with a groan, "You love sick bunny.. anyway i need to get to my duties and stay up all night trying to find my lover among the stars, bye Jungkook." Jihyo patted Jungkook's head and left his chambers leaving behind a smiling prince.
