"Okay, Y/N. I know you are still struggling with our decision to separate the UE, but please keep in mind that it gives each of you new opportunities. I trust you to sell the story well today. I don't want to have to regret letting you improvise the promo now. And of course, I'm eager to hear your decision," Hunter said to me as we waited backstage for my cue.

The time after the end of the Undisputed Era was hard for all of us. It took time to get used to the new situation of being on your own when you had been a part of a team for so long.

But Hunter was right. We all needed a change. And today, another change would occur. In the present story, Kyle and Adam were fighting over which one of them I should join. The previous week they had given me an ultimatum. So now I was to tell them my decision.

Hunter had decided to leave that part of the story open and left it up to me who I would join. He and the team said they would continue with the story as I wanted. I now held the strings for our future stories in my hands.

As my music played and I made my way to the ring, I took a deep breath and hoped that Hunter would really stick to our agreement. I was nervous, but I was sure I had made the right choice. Hopeful that this end could really become a new beginning.

"Oh well finally, Y/N. Have you made up your mind? Are you going to join me and stay on the winning track or are you going to side with Kyle from now on? Tell me that you are smart enough to choose the right side." asked Adam as soon as I entered the ring.

"Yes, Adam. I have indeed made my choice. In the end it was quite simple." I said and took a few steps towards him. His signature smirk appeared on his lips.

"I always know what's best for me, Adam. You should know that by now." I remarked in low voice, staring into his ocean blue eyes. I lifted a hand and brought it into his hair. Tangled my fingers into it. So I pulled him close to me and pressed my lips sensually to his. Adam did not hesitate a bit. Our lips moved in perfect harmony. The shocked gasps of the crowd echoed through the air. Slowly I ran the tip of my tongue over his lower lip. A low growl escaped Adam. I hoped the microphones wouldn't pick that up his excitement.

When I broke away from him, I saw the triumph in his eyes. Triumph, because he thought I had chosen him. But he was wrong. Oh, he was so wrong. Gently I pushed away his hand that had rested on my hip. Then I gave him a devilish smile and turned to Kyle.

He had a deeply shocked expression on his face, but before he could say anything or even react, I closed the distance between us and cupped his face with one hand. To make the confusion complete, I now pulled Kyle close to me and kissed him too. He was so stunned that it took him a moment to return my kiss. Kyle wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me closer. I nibbled his lip briefly and then let go of him.

A quick glance at Adam told me he was just as confused as Kyle and the audience. I ran a finger over my lips to wipe away the lip gloss, which I was sure was smeared. I laughed briefly, because I had clearly flustered both of them.

Now I lifted the microphone that I had been holding in my hand the whole time to my mouth. I had to concentrate so that I didn't start laughing or something worse.

"I have made my choice. But my choice is neither you, Adam, nor you, Kyle. I choose me. I'm doing my own thing from now on. I've been part of a team long enough. It is time for me to go new paths without taking others into consideration. But don't get me wrong. I'm going to keep you both real close to me. You could still come in handy for me at some point." I smirked and tossed the mic onto the mat. My music started playing once more and with that I left the ring.

My gaze wandered back to the two stunned men in the ring and I bit my lip. They had probably anticipated a lot for tonight, but certainly not what had just happened.

And to be quite honest, I really enjoyed kissing both men and being touched by them like that. If I was lucky, it might not have been the last time.
