you shrugged at him. he started walking over to you and he got down to your level.
"do.. you not trust me?"
he said in a sad voice. your face got a little pink and you said
"no! i do! its just... you seem like.. you would get mad..."
he lifted up your chin so you could look at him. you got really red and he started smiling. he was a little red to. he started leaning towards you closing his eyes. he was about to kiss you. you started doing the same, leaning in and closing your eyes. you both jumped back once you heard a knock at the door. captain took his hand off your chin and walked over to the door.
you got super mad that you guys were not able to kiss. captain opened the door and steve poked his head in. he invited himself in. Steve gave you a look and looked back at captain.
"what did you guys do last night? did you get y/n sick?"
he acted like he never walked in on you guys.
"you know what you seen. stop playing."
captain punched steve in the shoulder. steve started laughing.
"did y/n tell you?"
"i found out."
captain said as he was looking for something to wear. steve and captain started to have a conversation. you moved over to the chair you sat on when you first came into the room. you sat there playing on your phone. you looked up to get into captains and steves conversation once in a while. as you looked up talking to them, captain took his shirt off.
you felt your face get really red. he was really in shape and had a good 6 pack. he looked at you and caught you staring. he started showing off his arm muscles.
"like what you see?"
you all started laughing. you mumbled to yourself;
"i sure do."
captain put on a new shirt and you all sat down and talked. the nurse came in to check to see if captain was ok. she was surprised when she seen him up and moving. she checked everything and he was health. she said that today would be the last day he could be off because he felt so much better. you guys kept up with your conversation.
"...im getting hungry. you guys wanna get food with me?"
steve asked. captain looked over at you said you agreed to come with him. you all got up and started walking to the cafeteria. you and captain stayed a little farther away from steve. captain got down to your level and asked you
"so... are you ok with what happened last night?"
you got super embarrassed.
"y-yeah! it was fine!"
he smiled and stood back up.
"just making sure"
steve looked back at you guys
"making sure of what?"
"nothing."
steve shrugged and kept walking. you guys made it to the cafeteria just to find out they were not sever lunch. it was a few hours past lunch. you all groaned.
"wait- dont we have a mcdonald's around?" (not sponsored)
"yeah! we do!"
captain looked down at you
"want micky d's?"
you laughed a little but agreed with him. you all walked back to the main entrance.
"should we take the jeep or a tank?"
"the jeep."
you all started walking, even more, to the jeep. they had a huge garage filled with tanks, and other things like cars. captain fought over who was driving and who was sitting in the front seat. at the end, captain was driving, you were sitting in the passenger seat, and steve was sitting in the back.
"this isnt fair!"
steve pouted. you and captain started laughing at him. steve sat behind captains chair and kept kicking it.
"stop or your not getting your toy in your kids happy meal."
steve stoped within a heart beat. he rolled over to your side where he sat behind you now. you turned around to face him and he looked mad. you started laughing at him.
"be quiet! at least i get a toy!"
you started laughing more at him and captain chuckled a little. ~~~
you guys arrived to at the drive through. captain rolled down his window. you all ordered and captain and steve started fighting again over what sauce was better; barbecue or sweet and sour sacue. (correct answer; sweet and sour)
once you all got back to the campus you all ate and kept talking and all the other soldiers came in and ate too after a hour. you all said your good byes and Steve ran to his room. captain stayed with you. you could tell he was nervous for some reason. he kept running his fingers though his hair and he was messing with his hands. he was being really quiet to. hes always trying to make you laugh or you both are always talking. you both stood at the door of your room and you looked through your keys finding the one to open your door. "h-here y/n.." you looked behind you and you seen captain holding a envelope handing it to you. he wasnt looking at you. he was trying to hid his blood red face. he was embarrassed. you didnt think anything of it. you thought it was a letter from your parents. you grabbed it and once you did, captain put his hands in his pocket and started speed walking away. you thought it was strange and looked at the envelope while you unlocked your door. you walked in and shut the door behind you. you sat on your bed. the envelope didnt feel heavy. you toor it open and picked it out. captain handwriting was on it. his wasnt neat but it wasnt messy. he wrote fast and you would always watch him write on important papers or even you guys would pass notes to each other. steve would deliver all the notes back from you and captain. you slowly unfolded it. you started to see more and more hand writing. once you opened the whole thing, it said...

your heart sank as soon as you read it. your face was read and you felt confused. of course you liked him back. but the way he said "drives me crazy". you felt so many emotions.
