Tōru's POV:
"Oh, Iwaizumi-sama!" The lady with gills and small narrow, almost invisible fins on her arms bows to my husband. "I'm Nimue Narisa and, this is my sister Nimue Yara. Our pleasure to meet you here." She adds gesturing, towards her sister, that is right beside her by her left hand."Hey, ladies." He says and, we both bow. "The pleasure is on our side for meeting you today." my husband continues. They won't even greet me. How rude, but I'm used to it. Everybody trades me like a ghost. It wouldn't matter to me if I could do what I want but, I can't. I can't leave the castle without my husband. I can't complain about anything. I can't hang out with other Puellas. I can speak up only when I'm asked to. I'm not even allowed to say 'No' because it's considered 'rude' and 'disrespectful'.
She is wearing a beautiful light cream dress composed of several pleated parts resembling shells. It has a gorgeous big ribbon around the waist tied a little to the side. Her sister Yara has a strapless dress like her sister's but with a deep V neckline in her corset. Her skirt is pleated, and the whole dress is a light cream colour. They both are tall and pale, almost blend in with these dresses. But they are still beautiful.
I go back to my senses when I hear them laugh at something. I've been zoning out lately. There is acoustic music playing in the back so, it's never quiet. I know this song it's The Merry-Go-Round of Life by Joe Hisaishi. I love this song. It makes me feel more powerful than I actually am. It makes me feel like I'm in a dream with the life I've always wanted. I melt to the music playing loud enough to hear it with no problems but quiet enough for me to hear them talking. I don't know what are they talking about. The music is way too pretty to not pay attention to it. I snap back when I hear Yara say,
"We'd love to talk to you more but, we need to go. Our mother is probably expecting us already." she looks at him with soft eyes. "Ok, ladies. It was nice meeting you again." Iwaizumi bows and, so do I. "Nice girls, don't you think?" He asks and looks at me with one eyebrow raised. "Yes, sir," I say as I look at him back. "We should go. The meeting's about to start." He gives me a brief smile and then walks away and, I follow him.
We walk out of the enormous ballroom to a hallway with large glazed windows. They are practically glass walls with half-columns between the windows. They are richly decorated and, the wall is rounded from above so that the windows have a semicircle at the top which, continues to bend straight down until it meets the ground. The ceiling is made of glass too. The place where the wall and the glass meet is lined, with beautiful reliefs and paintings. I'm looking out of the windows at the stunning garden. It's mindblowing how many flowers can bloom in such cold temperatures. We're walking for a minute, and then we arrive at a big blue door.
The guards look at us." Iwaizumi Hajime and Iwaizumi Tōru," he says as he takes a document out of his inside pocket and shows it to one of the guards. He looks at it and then at us. Then one looks at the other, and both open the door for us. We walk in, and there are two more guards. They search us in case we had some weapons. No weapons are allowed on this ball at all the only ones that can have weapons are the guards. In this room and further are No weapons allowed. Not even the guards can have them."You wanna go or, are you gonna wait for me in the other room?" Hajime asks me. "I'll wait for you," I reply.
After they're done, one of them asks my husband to go with him through the big dark blue door by his right. It's curved at the top and wealthily decorated with ocean motive sculptures and reliefs. Above the door is carved 'Caotad' if I'm not mistaken, it should be something in the sense of 'calm as an ocean & strategic as a Killer Whale'. He disappears into the room, and another guard takes me to the white door by my left. It's also beautifully decorated with Ocean symbols and a curved top. Above the door is written in a stone 'Virpolé' which means 'Pure like just fallen snow & loyal like the new moon'. I don't understand their syntax and the way they got words representing whole sentences. These sentences don't even seem to be regular enough to make a word for them. There are also gods named Virpolé and Caotad. It would make more sense if they named it after what the gods represent. I will read about it when we get home.
I walk into a baby blue room with a few decorated armchairs and a sofa. In the middle is a coffee table behind, which are a few built-in shelves with books. There are paintings on the walls, and the whole room is overall very beautifully decorated with paintings directly on the walls and reliefs on the ceiling, around the windows and doors. When I walk into the room, by my right side is a balcony. Am I the first one here? I go to the balcony because I need some air.
"Oh, Tōru! I haven't seen you in such a long time! I missed you." My friend says in worry, love and excitement in his voice and eyes. I missed him too."Keiji! Oh my god, I'm so happy to see you. I missed you too." I bubble and hug him tightly. "How are you? How's it going with Kōtarō? Anything new?" I ask him with a little smirk. "I'm doing fine. It's going good and not really. And you? You know you can always talk to me, right?" He asks, concerned but also curious. He tilts his head to the side a little bit and pouts."I'm ok. It's still the same with Hajime and nothing new here either." I say with a warm smile. It's not like there isn't anything new it's more like it's not something I could tell him. It has been going on for a while now. I can see to the room Hajime went in.
I hear the door open and then close. I look in the room to see Kenma and Satori. Wait... Satori!? That means Ushijima Wakatoshi is here too. Oh no. If I knew he will be here too, I would beg Hajime to not bring me with him. I hope we will go home right after the end of the meeting. The last one I want to see is him. The last time we saw each other, I was once again traumatized. My thighs had his hands on them for another week. The hickeys stuck around for some time too. Satori looks at me with very soft eyes, almost apologetically. He gives me a sad smile and sits on one of the armchairs. There are some books on the coffee table so, he grabs one and starts reading. The moment Kenma sees me, he walks up to me with "Hi." That's all he says. Then Akaashi starts talking to him.
I look down at the city under the castle. It's beautiful. Our land is pretty too, but this is nostalgic. I'm not a Lagom but, Solivagand Mountains are full of snow and cold too. They are so lucky to have forests. The only difference is that I can go down the mountain and still be in this great kingdom.
Two small Silvas walk into the room. Their wings are in some piece of cloth and elegantly wrapped around their waist. If I didn't know they have wings and that piece of cloth isn't there just for the aesthetic, I would have no idea they have wings. They look stunning. They greet us and then continue with talking, and I have no idea what about. They get comfortable on the sofa without minding us. I want to go home.
The dress Nimue Narisa was wearing.
