"What I leave with you today, is the most precious thing in the world to me." Zemo confessed, his eyes fixed ahead. "I trust you and none other to deliver them safely to Wakanda."

The ever stoic Eko nodded, his silence comforting to a man like Zemo.

They stood side by side in the early morning sun, waiting on the tarmac of the private airport, far from the village and the danger hunting the family.

When he first got the call from Zemo, Eko answered not all together surprised to know the moment had come. He'd wasted no time in arriving, loyal to both the Baron's money and Wakanda's power.

Zemo motioned to the black SUV they'd taken to the runway and the driver side door opened immediately.

Eko watched as Zemo's old butler got out and opened the back door.

The Baron spoke quietly, in confidence. "After the loss one family. I don't trust that I can keep this one safe on my own any longer. This is not an easy thing for me to admit, but you know as well as I do, I can not take the chance." He said calmly.

The man nodded understanding perfectly well. He had no family of his own, but he'd seen what people were capable of when it came to protecting the ones they love.

The sight of the woman stepping out of the car; sad, perhaps a little confused and cradling a small child in her arms, grabbed his attention. She looked exactly as she had that night in Ibiza. The hair, her stunning face, and the undeniable presence. Those same kind eyes sparkled, nearly innocent in the way she looked at them. There was a softness about her that made Eko question if she was truly cut out for this life, or if she was just so wrapped up in loving the Baron that she did her best to keep up. Truthfully he was shocked they were still together. It was none of his business but relationships typically don't work out when one of you is wanted by an entire country.

The way she carried that child though, he could see she was made of tougher stuff. She may be unassuming at first, but there was no denying that fire in her eyes. She was just as capable as her husband and the boy in her arms clung to his mother with a child's awareness of who would keep him safe.

The wind whipped at her hair, as she walked to them. The slit of her long drop waist dress opened with her steps causing the rust colored fabric to flutter back as she came and Eko was impressed by her tasteful display of wealth. It seemed Christine had grown into the title of Baroness with a refinement he hadn't expected from the girl he'd first met, drunk in a slip dress and six inch heels after a night at the club. She was a woman who had learned much in her time running the world with the Baron and it showed.

The car pulled away, leaving them and she spun watching it go for a moment, turning back to the men with a look of surprise. The boy in her arms tucked his face into the crook of her neck as though he was afraid but when she whispered something to him, the child sat up and turned his head to see and smiled when he found his father.

"You've met before, but please. Allow me to properly introduce you to my wife." Zemo's smile was tight with pride."And our son. Ansel. What is mine, I trust to you completely." He finished just as she stopped in front of them.

Eko bowed deeply to the woman, stood and crossed his arms over his chest in a salute she'd never seen before. "Mrs. Zemo." He greeted her.

She smiled holding her son a little tighter. "Hello Eko." She clearly remembered him and was polite but hesitant. Her eyes flicked back and forth between them until she chose to settle on her husband. "So what's happening Helmut? Enough with the secrets now. And don't lie to me. He wouldn't be here if this wasn't serious." She said leaning in as if not wanting Eko to hear.
