It is late afternoon and the sun is low. George and Elizabeth have now arrived at the burger shop. George is relieved, so the shop still exists. So they enter the shop hungry and look for a nice place. The choice falls on a quiet place in a corner, at one of the large windows, from where you can see a small fenced playground. Elizabeth takes the card and gets an overview. The offer is plentiful and she can hardly make up her mind. "Can you recommend something?" She asks, looking at George with a gentle smile. He reaches for the second card at the table and begins to leaf through it a little awkwardly. "The steak house burger is not bad!" He replies somewhat embarrassed and looks further into the menu. "Fine, then it will!" She looks at Julian and lets him take a look at the map. "And what do you like?" Ask her. He points to one of the many pictures on the map. "That one!" He replies. She takes the card and looks at exactly which burger he chose. "Oh, I think it'll be too much for you!" She replies. "No, Mommy always eats one like that!" He replies vigorously. "George looks questioningly at Elizabeth. "Mommy? I thought he was your son? "He asks a little confused. "Oh, no!" She looks uncertainly at George. "That means yes! Somehow! "She stutters. "Well, actually he is Izzie's biological son!" She begins to explain.

George's eyes widen, the card almost slips out of his hand. He can barely catch her. "What?" He asks in a high voice. "I, I thought that wouldn't be possible after the last treatment?" He continues to ask. "I know. She told me about it! "Elizabeth replies and puts the card aside. "It's a long story!" She says and looks after the waitress. "Then why does the little boy say mom to you?" He asks further. "But you really want to know exactly what?" She replies and laughs embarrassed. "Oh I am sorry! I didn't want to...! "George is visibly uncomfortable with his curiosity. "All right! Don't panic! "She answers and looks at Julian, who has pulled his cell phone out of his pocket again and continues to play his game. Then she looks back at George. "When Izzie found out that the tumor was back, she came to me. She asked me if I would take over the guardian if something happened to her! Of course I said yes!

After all, the little one was kind of like my own child before! "Tell her and look back at the service. George listens carefully. "Izzie was honest with him from the start!" Tell her and stroke the boy's head. "She told him from the start that something was growing in her head and that she might be an angel soon! It wasn't easy for her, but she doesn't believe in lying to children. She wants him to be ready when it happens! So she told him that he now has two mums! They and me! And because he knows me from birth, it wasn't difficult for him. We lived together for a while and shared the upbringing and changing the diaper. When he was very young, he also said mommy to me. It was very confusing, for us and for others! "She laughs. "Sometimes people thought we were a lesbian couple!" She grins. George frowns and smiles. "After telling him that I would be his mom and take care of him, he simply decided to say mom to both of us again. He has so well weaned himself off again! " "And now we're here to find someone to get the" bad man "out of her head!" Elizabeth gets impatient. Where is this stupid service?

"Maybe I should go check and get someone. They probably don't see us here! "She says and wants to get up. But at that very moment a young woman comes to them at the table with a small writing pad and a pen in her hands. "What can I do for you?" She asks kindly. George folds up the card, puts it on the table and pushes it away a little. "We'd like the Steak House Burger!" He replies. And looks a little uncertain about Elizabeth. "Yes and for the little ones a Chicken Classic without onion! And then chips! "Ordered them. "And to drink?" Asks the waitress. Elizabeth looks briefly into the room and thinks. Then she looks back at the young woman next to her. "A water please and a coke for the little one! Today we really want to show off! "She grins. "I would also like a coke!" Replies George. The waitress notes the order and disappears in the kitchen. "And now you! How is it that you sit here with me today and order a burger? "George looks at her with wide eyes. "I'm hungry!" He replies and grins cheekily. "Okay, that's one explanation and the other?" She asks. "Come on. I told you something. Now tell me something! "She asks him. He grins ashamedly and looks at the table in front of him. "What the hell. I've talked about it so many times. I've got practice in it now! "He says. Elizabeth tilts her head slightly to one side. "It was all a long time ago! We were just in training and it was our second year! "He begins to tell. "I decided to join the army back then because I thought I couldn't learn anything here! So I'm in the army! "He says and looks out of the window. "What can I say? I was wrong! Some time after I arrived in Iraq, I was sent on an outside mission. With me there were ten men! A group of soldiers was attacked near our hospital, we should rescue the injured! "
