hey y'all!
i just realized that i haven't officially announced this. i think it's pretty obvious that this fic went on an unofficial hiatus for a while. i just got stuck with my writing. it's sort of like i dug myself down into a hole, and i just couldn't figure out a way to claw myself out. so, i figured the best way for me to fix this is to rewrite blackbird. my writing has improved in the past couple of months, and i feel like this fic deserves better writing than what it has.
i now have a dilemma. should i leave this book as it is and then make the rewritten version its own fic, or should i just put the rewritten version in place of this fic? the rewrite is going to be a lot different from this version. pretty much the only thing that will remain the same is the yj plot and then delilah remaining as the oc, but even that will be different because i'm changing some things about her character.
either way, this fic is being rewritten. thank you all for being so supportive through my writing journey for this fic. i would not have made it this far without y'all. i cannot wait for y'all to be able to read the new version of blackbird!
