I've been updatng all night, and I'm really happy with this update!! I hope y'all will be too!!

The next morning was slow. I had to roll myself off the couch. I slowly walked to the shower, where I let the water hit against my skin, thawing out my cold feet. I closed my eyes and just stood there. Knocks at the bathroom door almost made me fall. I switched off the water and wrapped a towel around me as Clex opened the door.

"Sorry," he said. "We gotta go."

"One sec," I said.

He shut the door and I got dressed in a hurry, thanking God that my hair was naturally wavy. As Clex and I jumped in his truck, I brushed my hair out and fixed my makeup. I heard Clex chuckle to himself and I looked at him. "What? Never seen a girl get dressed in a hurry before?"

"You're too cute," he shook his head.

I rolled my eyes and put my makeup and brush in my backpack. When we arrived at the school, Ben, Nicole, and Chase were standing there. Where was Anais? Did he dump her or something? I got out of the truck, and so did Clex, and we walked up to them.

"Clex, get away from her," Ben hissed.

"No," Clex snapped, holding my hand.

"We know what you did," Nicole stepped up.

"Don't," Chase told her.

"Oh really?" Clex looked at Nicole. "What did I do?"

"I don't have to tell you. But she can remind you," she smirked.

"She?" he asked.

Nicole stepped to the side and a timid girl--Ben's sister, I think--stood there, looking down.

"He won't hurt you," Ben stood beside her.

She let out a ragged breath and looked at Clex through her lashes. I looked at Clex and he just had a calm, collected face.

"Do you recognize me?" she whispered, barely audible.

"You're Ben's sister, right?" he asked.

She nodded, not making eye-contact with him. She looked at Ben and he just nodded. "Wh...Why?"

"Why what?" Clex shrugged.

Her hands clenched into fists and she slowly let them go. "Why...did you do that to me?!"

"Chill out," he lifted up his hands. "I didn't do anything to you."

"Liar," she spat.

Anais came walking up, looking livid. She began to yell at Ben so fast in French that I couldn't keep up. He tried to respond to her, but she slapped him across his face and walked away. Ben sighed and looked back at his sister. She looked like she wanted to cry. She ran her hand through her side-bangs and they feathered to the side. She looked up at me, her green eyes faded. "Don't buy into his words. He'll tell you nothin' but lies."

I just gave her a baffled look.

"I see that look on your face--you're not understanding what I'm saying. I've been where you been and," she looked at Clex coldly, "I know how it ends. Don't let him mess with your mind. He'll tell you anything you wanna hear. He'll break your heart it's just a matter of time."

I bit my lip, not knowing who to believe. Clex didn't seem like the kind to hurt people. But Ben's sister didn't seem like the kind who'd lie, either. And the fact that Clex hadn't responded, only made things seem like he was a bad guy. I looked at Ben's sister and she just stood there, straight-faced looking dead at Clex. And as she began to speak, I got kind of scared.

"Do you remember, Clex?" she hissed his name. "Do you remember the last time you saw me? How it started out a good day, but ended terribly? How you made yourself surperior by hurting me? How you let it go on for so long?!" she began to choke, but it didn't stop her rant. "I should've said something. Because now she believes you! You brainwashed her, like you brainwashed me! You're gonna ruin her life, like you did mine!"

Ben held her arm as she swallowed tears away.

"I think I know what this is about," he took a step closer to her, causing her to move back. "I remind you of someone who has hurt you before. But I'm only going to say this once. I never hurt you. I didn't lay a hand on you. I never verbally abused you. I never physically abused you. So, don't go blaming me for things I didn't do."

She sprinted away from him and Ben went after her. Nicole and Chase looked at me as if I were an idiot.

"What?" I looked at them.

"He's no good!" Chase said.

"I'm right here," he snapped his head towards Chase.

"Won't you open up your eyes, Alexis?!" Nicole yelled at me. "He let--"

"Hush," Clex commanded.

"Let her talk," I told him.

Nicole swallowed, looking from him back to me. This was her trying. Chase squeezed her hand and nodded. I stood next to Clex, making sure he wouldn't pounce on her while she spoke.

"He let his dad rape her," she said coldly.

"What?!" I looked up at him.

"She's lying," he assured me.

I shook my head. "Nicole's a terrible liar."

"Look," he looked in my eyes. "If my dad actually did that, don't you think my mom would know about it?"

I looked at Nicole and Chase for an explination for that.

"She's not home when it happens," Chase elaborated.

I walked away from Clex, going on my own. I wiped my slow tears away. My friends probably hated me, Ben didn't want anything to do with me... I couldn't stand it anymore. Why did it have to be this way? And I never would've expected his dad to be that kind of guy. His dad seemed really nice. None of this made sense to me. What was I supposed to do now?

So???????? I'm so happy I got this up, because this is the most important series for me. It means a lot to me, because of the easiness of me being able to relate and hopefully, people reading this will either speak up, or tell their friends to... So comment, promote.... Yepz! Much love!
