Whoever said childbirth would be easy and fun? Lied. It was painful and draining. But it was totally worth it. To see my twins side by side. To hold them in my arms afterwards. Emma in her pink hat and Mason in his blue.
Family and friends filed in with balloons and flowers. Mom and Nicky took a lot of pictures to capture the memory. Mom wanted to hold Emma and Dad wanted to hold Mason. I needed to rest my eyes, but I didn't want to miss anything.
The doctor finally told me I had to rest, so I did. All I dreamt about were my kids. My two beautiful kids. I could only imagine how they'd grow up to be. Their interests, their personalities. Everything about them.
When I opened my eyes, Emma was in Nicky's arms and Mason was in Chase's. My doctor took my vitals and told me I'd be here for a while, so I could recharge. Nicky and Chase gave me my children and they opened their eyes. Emma had golden eyes and Mason had blue eyes. It was tough to judge their hair colors, but I was really excited to watch them grow.
"How ya feelin?" Mom put a hand on my shoulder.
"They're so tiny. And adorable. And perfect," I whispered.
"They're all yours," she said.
Whoa. They were all mine.

So the book is done!!! I have a bunch of different visions of Emma! And I was wondering if I should start the next book with Emma being 18 or 16. Maybe 18 and she has flashbacks of her being 16? Lemme know your thoughts below!!
