Part 7

Midnight city

Jinny was changing her clothes in their small locker room, when her phone rang, it was Daniel.

"Is your shift over?" he said

"Yeah, I just finished, what's up."

"I'm waiting in the car outside, come drink with me at the manor."

"It's closed today right? Monday?"

"Have you forgot that I'm the owner of it?"

She chuckled "okay, I'm coming,"

Daniel took out some keys from his pocket, they're going in through the backdoor of the club.

"Why are you smiling?" he asked jinny when they entered

"Cause it feels like where doing something bad, breaking and entering, its fun."

He chuckled

"Wow . . . so this is how it looks like when it's empty." Jinny said while scanning her eyes around club looking amazed.

Daniel opened the lights at some parts of the club, and the aircon too. They stayed at the first floor where there are two long bars on the both side with the dance floor in the middle and some tables and couches at the back.

He went behind the bar while jinny sat in the stool in front of him.

"So . . . what do you want to drink?" Daniel said while getting some glasses.

"Just a beer."

"You got a whole club full of liquor all by yourself and you just want a beer . . . c'mon Jin you can do better."

She chuckled " Yeah you're right . . . okay ill start with a classic Manhattan Mr. hot bartender"

"Now that's a drink"

"Are we really the only ones here?"

Daniel nodded while he started making the drinks "Why, do you have something in mind?" he said smiling.

She laughed softly, shaking her head.

They've been drinking and talking for more than an hour

"Are you still okay?" Daniel said while sitting in the stool after he got back from the toilet.

Jinny nodded then she stood up and walked in the dance floor, spinning herself in the middle with her arms spread out.

Daniel chuckled

"Daniel c'mon, can you play some music? I wanna dance in an empty dance floor." she shouted

"You're crazy." He stood and went up to the DJ booth in front of the dance floor, he turned on the speakers and just plugged his phone in it and played the midnight city by M83

Jinny just started dancing, raising her hands, and waving it in the air.

He chuckled and just stood there and watched her from above the booth.

Jinny's looked up and smiled at him while feeling the music and continued dancing without a care in the world.

While staring at her, Daniel suddenly felt like everything around him just stopped or disappeared and Jinny was the only one that exists right at that moment. Just like in movies.

His heart raced again and that time he knew. He became so sure about it.

He walked down to the dance floor and grabbed Jinny's waist and pulled her against him. He tucked her hair behind her ears then kissed her, softly and passionately, it was a long kiss. . His heart was beating like crazy.

He released her lips and said

"I Love you."
