Part 4

Daniel went to the coffee shop in the afternoon to get some iced latte and to kill some time before his meeting with some organizers, while he was on the queue where there are 4 people in front of him he noticed that jinny is not in the counter today, its was Tara. He scanned the side counter where the coffees are being made with other 3 staffs and still hasn't found her, when it was his turn Tara greeted her excitingly.

"Hi sir Daniel"

"Just Daniel Tara," he said "Med iced latte"

Tara noticed that Daniel is scanning the place and she knew that he was looking for jinny.

"Jinny didn't go to work today" she said in a low voice

"Why?"

"She called in sick this morning, she said she had a fever, I'm gonna check her after my shift cause she rarely takes an off even if she's not feeling well"

"I will check her" Daniel said

Tara nodded and smiled

After he got his coffee, he went to the restaurant just beside the cafe and ordered some take outs for jinny he thought that she'd be eating junk again specially now that she's sick.

Jinny took a bit long to open the door when he knocked. She looked like she just got up from bed in her navy blue Nike sweater and a thin sleeping pajamas, she looked pale and really weak.

"Daniel I can't do it today" Jinny said at the door when she opened it.

"I didn't come here for that." Daniel said in a serious voice, then put his hand to jinny's forehead to check her temperature, she still abit feverish.

"How did you know" jinny weakly said

"I went to the shop"

"Tara" she sigh

He nodded and let himself inside the house.

"I'm fine, its just a fever, well my whole body aches too but I'll live," Jinny said then slumped her body and lay in the living room couch with her bed pillows and blanket in it.

"Why are you sleeping there?"

"I don't like to be in bed when I'm sick, its making me feel more sicker."

Daniel saw the empty cup noodles in the center table along with the medicines and a water pitcher.

"I knew you're eating this crap again" he sighed

"Please don't scold me now, I'm sick" she muttered with her eyes closed.

"C'mon eat this first before you sleep" he said while putting out the food from the paper bag.

"Yeah later"

Daniel sat down in some space left in the couch where jinny crammed herself in.

"I have a meeting at the club, where's your house keys ill come back here after."

"I'm okay now, you don't have to comeback" she replied with her eyes still closed.

" Just don't fight with me where is it," then he stood up and just looked for it when jinny didnt answer. He found it in the kitchen counter.

He patted Jinny's head "ill comeback okay"

Jinny just dozed off then he left

It's was a meeting with some organizers who will held up a sponsored event at the club, He cant help thinking about jinny while he's at it. He texted her and asked if she wants anything.
