*Two years later in the Soulmate!NaJ Multiverse*

String could almost not believe that it had been two years after the Nova Sans' came into the NaJ Multiverse. They explained what was happening to their Multiverse and proposed that he could help stabilize it a bit. In return they would do whatever he wants them to do, with a couple restrictions.

He agreed but he had no idea what to ask of them. He just told them that they'll talk about tomorrow. He was thinking about it so much that Reaper had to put him to sleep or else he would have stayed up all night. String did come up with a conclusion though.

He soon approached them about it. He asked that they never judge before knowing the entire story. They quickly agreed. Nightmare then called Sci with a multiverse phone that was given by Destiny. String and the Nova Sans' prepared to go to the OG Multiverse.

At the OG Multiverse he reconnected with old friends, stabilized the Multiverse, and he even got to introduce his lover and child to his friends. Earlier String asked if they could bring Reaper and Ember. They obliviously agreed as they wanted to get to know them a bit more.

The family stayed at the OG Multiverse for two weeks. Beforehand String and Reaper thought it would have been a bit too long but after the two weeks were over they thought it was too short. On the day String had to leave everyone was either crying or on the verge of crying. String promised them that he'll try to visit every other month.

Thankfully for them he was a man of his word, every two months he always came and visited them for a day and then left. After the second visit Sci started working on a Multiverse phone. He, and the others, wanted to keep in contact with String. It took him about 8 months because he never got the right resources when he needed them. However, Sci eventually got the Multiverse phone to String.

On the other hand with the NaJ Multiverse, two of Killer's friends got married a year and a half after the Nova Sans' went to the NaJ Multiverse. Killer invited him to come since his friends said to bring some people. He found out the newlyweds are Fresh and PJ. He had never met them but he had heard of them from school.

String thought the looked cute together. He found out that they were soulmates and they were deeply in love after just talking with them once. They were a very nice couple honestly. It reminded him of when he just got married to Reaper.

The 6 months after the wedding went pretty normal, that is if you count chasing a 7 year old around all day normal. String looked back on when he was suffering. To him it feels so far away. Maybe it was because he received the protection of Destiny and Fate. Or maybe because he's with his soulmate. Or maybe...no probably not. Well he can only speculate.

He looked out the window looking at the stars. From an outer perspective he looked deep in thought. His head was filling up with questions. Why didn't this happen earlier? Why didn't Fate notice that he was hurt? Was something blocking from seeing them? What if it's-.

"Honey?" Reaper said cutting him out of his thoughts. "Yes Reaps?" String said turning away from the stars to his husband. "Why are you out of bed? Is your insomnia acting up again?" Reaper said, quickly getting worried for his lover. "I'm just..wondering." String paused. "Wondering why this happens now, not later or sooner, ..but now."

Reaper sighed. "Because sweetheart..it wasn't the right time. It happens because it needs to. Could be trial to trying to make you stronger. Could be a test. Could be anything. And you're the strongest person I know. So I can't just help but wonder..how many of these trials was meant to help you?" Reaper said trying to explain his perspective.

"I guess we can't help but wonder." Reaper nodded and pulled String into a hug. They stood there enjoying each other's warmth. After a bit Reaper separated and picked up String bridal style to lead them to their bed. He sat down on the bed and carefully put String down under the comforter.

Reaper crawled down next to him. "Can we cuddle?" String asked timidly. Reaper nodded bringing himself closer to his lover. Slowly, but surely, String started to fall asleep. When Reaper was sure that String was asleep he started mumbling to himself. "I love you String....and nothing will stop me from loving you..." Reaper then started falling asleep. Right before he fell asleep he heard a faint whisper saying, "I know and I'm never leaving you."

{Hello!! Also I know this is kinda short but I was trying to wrap things up and stuff. And yes I did include freshxpj in this. I'm kinda proud I finished this story.
